a gravekeeper by profession, samson collects and inters the bodies of midveilers. he is remarkably good at his job, and can retrieve bodies thought to be permanently missing with eerie rates of success.
coarse, wiry fur that tends to hold its shape when styled. typically smells of freshly turned soil and wet pelt. has a habit of chewing a particular blend of pine tar gum and mugwort that produces a rather pleasant, earthy smell.
typically accompanied by his companion, roe, a strange and unique creature that shares traits with both mammals and fungi. roe secretes a foreign substance onto its cap that can be collected, preserved, and eaten. samson insists it's good, but it's not clear if he really believes it.
