Vazquez

Vazquez was the guardian of a young boy who was obsessed with collecting baseball cards. His life could be rough, he felt different from other children, no matter what he did to try to fit in. One day, he invented an imaginary friend, a big, strong catcher who would protect him from other children at school. Though they could not physically protect the little boy, Vaz helped the boy practice his baseball, playing catcher to the boys pitcher. The boy grew up, and became a very successful baseball player. He sometimes jokes about his imaginary catcher friend.

After Vaz "retired" to Midveil, he became sort of a protector of Outfield as well. Drifting upon it one day from the clouds, he felt right at home instantly. He knew that when he wasn't visiting the Temple, he would love to live here. He often can be seen on the diamond, catching for Matty.
