Personality

Note: He got a name change for... reasons... but I'm too lazy to fix it below. Micah is more often than not a very shy boy. He doesn't do well with meeting new people unless they give off very specific personality traits that make him feel safe. This is due to trust issues born from prior abuse. This also caused him to develope a skittsh trait, generally when someone tries to touch him or moves too quickly. Though, despite these little quirks he's a very sweet boy with a big heart. He wants nothing more than to live a happy life with his friend and help others to do the same.

History

Micah was born with a weak body and a weak immune system that was never cared for properly and his growth stunted at 5'3" when he was 14 years old. He was abandoned when he was three years old by parents who just didn't want a child and has had a rough life ever since.

He was picked up off the streets with a horrid illness a few days after his parents skipped town and was brought to Shining Stars orphanage. It was an abusive place that didn't do much outside help him through the illness that threatened to kill him. He was fed, but more often than not his food was taken by the stronger of the children while the caregivers turned a blind eye... but this was also how he met Ku. After years of ridicule, the other boy had taken it upon himself to drive away the bullies and even share his own share of food. This was when Micah started becoming attached to this boy.

They became quick friends and that helped them put up with whatever torment came to them throughout their years in the orphanage. However, when Ku brought up plans to run away... Micah couldn't possibly see a reason to refuse, so they snuck out during a little event one night and hopped from town to town for a year afterwards. It was hard watching his friend working so hard and he desperately wanted to help... but Ku always refused. Micah grew to curse his weak existence while putting up a bright smile that hid it.

Their little excursion halted in the town they live in now when he became violently ill, similarly to the illness that had caught him when he was such a young age. He honestly thought he was going to die and so did his friend... it made his friend so desperate and even though it brought them food and a roof over their heads... Micah will never let himself live down the torment Ku has has to put up with in order to sustain that life for them.

Today

He currently doesn't know what profession Ku has taken on that supposedly will set them free and he worries that his friend might be in over his head on the matters of their debts. He loves Ku dearly and truly wishes he could find means to help rid themselves of their current situation rather than just being sickly at home all the time.

Since his illness prevents him from general work, he spends most of his days doing house work with the homes servants and educating himself with the books kept in their library. He goes to the doctor weekly to keep track of his condition while they attempt to nail down exactly what this disease is that effects his immune system and water deficiency.
