Ash is loud, very energetic and a troublemaker all around, she can't and wont tolerate anyone with even a slight bit of attitude because she doesn't like others trying to control her. She has the worse reputation in town, her personality can be a lot for most people and they make that very clear but you know what, that's fine! She will vibe in the woods like a cryptid and cause the biggest ruckus imaginable for her own amusement. Ash much prefers to be in nature than anywhere else, she likes the freedom and all kinds of adventures that she can find in there. Getting into problems is part of her nature and any consequences that might bring to herself do not cross her mind, if she gets hurt she sees it as just part of the experience... or maybe just not that important.
Ash is actually filled with SOO much love to give that she feels forced to repress because of how people raise their noses at her and feeling vulnerable like that makes Ash feel uncomfortable and anxious. She's a big fucking softy even if she likes to pretend to be all tough, in reality she gets attached to people like, laughably quick, even people she "hates". If her friends get hurt or sick she will look at them with the biggest watery eyes, she is genuinely so gentle and caring. Ash hates not being able to help the people she cares about, she can't just sit there and witness, she has to actively participate in the reason they feel better. She loves her friends a lot and is very protective over them, oh she will be So Rude if you are even slightly mean to any of them, she will FIGHT YOU.
Despite her tough exterior, Ash's biggest fear is feeling vulnerable and helpless, and she would be willing to do anything to never fall back on that spiral ever again.

• Long wavy red hair that goes past her hip.
• Piercings on her nose and her ears.
• Scars: Has a wound on her nose at the beginning of the story but it heals
• Slightly shorter than Max but wears a lot of tall boots that make up for it.
• Her eyes arent completely rounded and have a pointy eyelash.
• Her legs are kind of chubby! Has a bit of an hourglass bodyshape (dont overdo it tho, she's 14-15 bruvh)
Trivia
• Ash's crows bring her gifts that she hides in a secret spot inside the forest that looks like a big hollow tree. Kana and her make little trinkets out of them in their free time.
• She has her own space in Max's room, like a little fort where she sleeps and keeps her most precious possessions or things she can't keep at her house in general. Spends more time at Max's house than her own.
• Her room at her parents' house is completely filled with things for her crow friends to play, eat and sleep at and she's always renovating it and adding new things to it because she likes it and is a good way to get her mind distracted while at the house.
• A small nitpick is that Ash doesn't like being called a ginger. If you call her a ginger she will go on a lighhearted rant about how gingers and redheads are completely different things (and she's right).
• She loves climbing trees and catching things at the river with Max and just being out in nature in general. Max and her have a harder time moving around town because of the lack of trees and they have no clue how to roof hop, the exact opposite of Noriel and Kana.
• Bobby braids Ash's hair. She likes it and it helps soothe them both even tho Ash tries to act cool about it.
• Ash starts wearing the same perfume and has a little keychain she wears in her pants in hopes Kana will know when she's around. Inclusive flirting :]
• Her crows are friends not pets, it's why "Crow" doesn't have a name. Crow is the first one of her crows Ash ever met and tended to and there is definitely no favoritism in either side. /s
• Kana and Ash meet up in the woods just the two of them. Depending on the mood they will either bring things to break and clean up trash from the forest a little, or build little trinkets out of the things Ash's crows bring her.

Max | Childhood Friend-Sibling
Max is the first friend Ash ever made and they have basically grown up together because of how close their families used to be so now they are basically siblings that would kill for each other but also tease each other to death. The both of them have way too much energy and spend most of their free time having adventures in the woods or causing mayhem. Townfolk treat them like outsiders and Max is too gentle to do anything about it so Ash is in constant protect mode. She wants to be the reason they are safe, after everything she feels that she at least owes them that much.
Kana | Crush
Ash doesn't feel like she has to put up a strong intimidating front when she's around Kana. She always admires how shamelessly affectionate Kana lets herself be and it makes Ash feel like maybe she can finally allow herself to be that way too like she's always wanted to. There is no obligation to Be Anything between them both and it allows her to let out parts of herself that she has never had the chance to experience before. There was no crushing involved for the longest time until one day it was like uh oh.
Bobby | Best Friend
She was unsure of him at first, but then she realized he might be more intimidated by the situation than she was and so Protective Mode activated because a sense of familiarity and relatability grew on her. Ash is an intense ball of energy but she's always willing to slow down for Bobby and worries about respecting his boundaries way more than Bobby actually wants her to.

Wander | Dislike
She hates him by association to Loona to be honest and also Max doesnt like him so she's like GRRRRR. She doesnt trust adults and cant help but feel like Wander's friendliness towards Max is a two-faced facade so she really doesnt like him but we will see how long that lasts.
Loona | DISLIKE BUT IN BOLD
Ash likes to mess with Loona and her merchandize, getting her riled up is a must every time she visits the town. But I dont think even Ash knows why she dislikes Loona so much. Their personalities clash because they are too much alike and Ash might be trying to prove something to herself.
