Max is that one extroverted friend that adopts all the introverts in the group. They have a keen for eternal positivism, and it is their warm nature that makes almost everyone want to chill with them. Max likes to hold their emotions close to their chest and encourages others to do the same, they are able to determine other's problems and emotions with ease thanks to being so in tune with their own. Compared to their sister, Max is the most welcoming of the duo but they still have their own chunk of dumbassery and lack of braincells. They are very agile and energetic with fondness for mischief and fun, spending most of their time in the forest where they can be as loud and chaotic as they please.
Being so in control of their emotions also means they know how to hide and pretend to be ok if they so wish to, rather prefering to be the group's therapist friend. Max has a hard time standing up for themself and gets frightened easily in situations. They are not a fighter, they just want to have fun and chill so they are extremely passive to a fault. However, they also have a biase towards their friends and will back them up no matter what it is they are doing without much questioning, using their agility to be a distracting force to the opposite party.
Despite their gentleness, Max's love for their close ones has and will push them to try anything just to make sure they are safe, even if they are someone that might not deserve it.

• Max is the only person Ash's crows don't warn her about. They caw at everyone else as a warning, but not Max.
• Max's room is covered in piles of things because they are very sentimental about the stuff they are given so they don't get rid of anything.
• Max likes their hair a lot! they spend a lot of time taking care of it.
• They like when everyone they care about is in the same room where they can see them.
• Max can play the guitar and harmonica.
• Max has separation anxiety specially when it comes to Ash. If she doesn't visit, they will go seek for her even if it's just to see her for 5 minutes.
• They have a pile of plushies on their bed, their favorite is a bee plush.
• Max taught their bird to free fly so he follows them around in the forest. Ash's crows like Sunflower!
• Max, Ash and Bobby are all best friends and they like to hike in the woods together.
• They like to play music for Bobby because the sound relaxes him.

• Max has a healthy relationship with their parents. There are communication issues in Max's side but they love their parents very much!
• Max and Ash are able to climb to the top of the trees in the forest with incredible ease.
• The town can be quite overwhelming when you spend most of your life in the woods, not knowing how to get above ground because of all the buildings around, and all the people that look at you like you are an outsider. Best to just avoid it.

Ash | Childhood Friend - Sister
Partners in crime, through and through! Their families were once very close so Max and Ash got to grow up together. They are like siblings and of course they share some form of playful rivalry. They get in trouble together and cause problems on purpose since Max enables Ash's chaos and stupid ideas. Max is the most mature of the two but they lose braincells whenever Ash is in close proximity.
Bobby | Best Friend
He showed up at an inconvenient place but the right time. Max has always displayed their emotions openly. Bobby? not so much! But Max adapted quickly to the way Bobby expresses himself and since the moment the two met, he has shown Max a completely different way to see the world. He opened their eyes to things they didn't even consider before. Conversations with him are always the best!
Noriel | Little Friend!
Max very big, Noriel very smol. Max is very patient with her and thus she became one of the introverts that Max picked up like a lost kitten. She started following them around wanting to be near them and Max doesn't find any issues with that. They think Noriel is super cute, feisty and huggable.
Leo | Friend
Their first meeting, honestly not the best. Max still doesn't know what to expect from this one, but they think Leo's a funky little guy, they find him a bit amusing. Max is used to people like Leo being selfish and pushing others down, but Leo? He's not quite like that, and that's weird.
Loona | Dislike
Max considers Loona someone hypocritical who keeps going at Ash's throat for no good reason, so they find joining Ash on messing with her fun sometimes. Max does not trust her. At all. But the two have so much more in common than they realize.
Wander | Dislike
Max does not hate him, but they'd be lying if they said that they didn't feel annoyed when he shows up. Wander treats Max like someone who needs to be saved and it drives Max insane every time, the way he looks at them does not help either. They don't understand why he does this but it doesn't matter. Max doesn't like being condescended or seen as someone who could shatter like glass, because they are not.

There is no comunication, no readability of intentions, nothing. And if there is anything from him, it feels carefully crafted. He makes Max uncomfortable, to say the least.
