Kana is someone with a high emotional intelligence and can connect easily to people. She can’t stand being alone for too long, she has a big amount of energy she needs to let out so she benefits greatly from constant company, specially from calmer down to earth people. She is not hyperactive or loud by any means though. She has a soft voice and is very nurturing, and can be a very protective person if she feels like she has to be. Kana THRIVES off of physical affection too! She will put a hand on your shoulder, boop your nose, and tons and tons of hugs
Kana can get obsessive if she has a goal in mind, which can be for the better or for worse depending on the situation she’s in. Kana loves a bit of excitement and likes the thrill of causing problems because in a way she feels like it’s a form of chaos she can control. She has big abandonment issues for many reasons and gets unhealthily paranoid with daily thoughts of things going horribly wrong so she needs some consistency and control in her life and avoids letting others see her more negative emotions at all costs.
Kana feels like she is in a constant battle fighting back her true self, and if she loses, well… she thinks she will end up doing something unforgivable.

Design
• Pale skin and natural white hair and white eyebrows. Dont try to fix her to look more "normal/white" because she's not even white. She just has albinism
• Kana always has her amber medalion, even if sometimes it isn't visible under her jackets and hoodies.
• Pointy ears not optional. Has big eyelashes and eyebrows with a round nose. Her hair is slightly wavy.
• Scars: Small scar on her left side of her belly.
• Eyes are blue, but can look purple under intense light.
• She can be drawn with sunspots on her face and in different parts of her body!
Trivia
• She likes being in control of the things she touches and doesn't touch. Finding nice textures is always exciting!
• Kana has OCD. Gives her a lot of intrusive thoughts, besides many other things.
• Kana has albinism. This makes her immunocompromised, gives her sensitive skin, blood clotting problems and more.
• Kana can NOT stand being in a messy room. She will either leave the area immediately or freeze and start knocking on the nearest object.
• She loves to go to the secret garden with Noriel and make flower crowns and exploring the red wood forest.
• She gets random hyperfixations that eventually pass. That’s why she has a lot of knowledge and things to say.
• Kana has bad eyesight because of her albinism, and will eventually go blind. Her eyes gain a white tint on her pupils the more blind she gets.
• Kana blushes easily because of her pale skin. This happens with any strong emotion, not just when flustered.
• Kana suffers from nightmares.
• She picks Noriel up randomly if she ever wants to take her somewhere quickly and Noriel’s just cool with it
• Kana doesn't swear. She only swears once in the whole story, as a treat.
• Her cheeks squish when she smiles.

Noriel | Younger Sister
Kana has been longing for the comfort of family, and now that she has it she will go to any lengths to keep it safe. Being in the position of older sibling is something new to her, and Noriel's trust is something that she worked hard to earn. Kana is caring by nature, but she is extra soft when she's with Noriel, she knows they can be very vulnerable under certain situations so Kana can be quite protective over them. If Kana feels you are even a slight threat to her sister, a more aggresive part of her will come out and she doesn't hesitate.
Wander | Adoptive Dad
Kana loves!! Wander!!! If she finds a cool leaf? Shows it to Wander. Learns something new? Has to tell Wander. They both have a lot of facts and stories to share, they can talk to each other for hours, and they are both extroverts that love making friends. You would usually find them together looking at stuff they find interesting, surrounding someone they want to talk to and befriend or teasing Loona with their charm. Kana is Wander's little princess.
Loona | Adoptive Mom
Big scary punk adult with tiny bubbly child. Kana thinks Loona is sooo cool and keeps trying to impress her. She always wants to show her little things she finds and do activities with her like brushing each other's hair, making bracalets, etc and Loona will play along. Kana has finally found somebody that's willing to start a fight with a grown man just as much as she is lmao.
Ash | Crush
Kana gets soooo flustered around her and is always looking forward to when they can see each other again. She can be her true chaotic loving self around her and she's having a blast! She doesn't have the need to be in constant fear of fucking something up whenever she's with her, if anything she feels secure enough to vent to her about things she can't tell other people and seeks for her comfort.
Leo | Close Friend
Leo was the last one to arrive at the foster and join her friengroup, but even still he is one of her closest friends right before Vi. They always seek each other's company and use their Cuteness And Charm to their advantage to be little shits. Leo has been separating himself from their friendgroup lately however, but he still comes to her from time to time to chat. So Kana makes sure to cherish that, even if right now she doesn't understand what's going on.
Victoria | Childhood Friend
Kana's best friend and roommate, together they are the self proclaimed welcome committee at the foster radiating strong extroverted vibes. She was low-key Kana's gay awakening. Victoria's tough attitude can intimidate Kana at times tho, so she tends avoid getting on Vi's bad side. But things change.
Nat and Kiki | Friends
Kana's two other roommates. Kana and Kiki like to tease and mess with each other all in light hearted fun. Kiki is low energy most of the time but Kana helps make up for it. With Natalia, on the other hand, Kana is very affectionate with. You will usually find Kana latching on to Nat's arm and being very touchy.
