Trivia
  • His nicknames "bana" and "coco" come from the fact that he loves chocolate and bananas. Pocky, Chocolate covered bananas, and banana/chocolate flavored milk are his favorites!
  • Kyo has A LOT of siblings but he loves every one of them. He visits home often! Still he's a bit bad with names... even now sometimes he'll get the names of his siblings mixed up. It doesn't help that a lot of them are similar.
  • He loves night time the most and it's his favorite time of day to go out. Sometimes for a drive sometimes a walk but either way he rarely has specific destination in mind!
  • He has a lot of pre-show rituals to try and calm his nerves before going on stage. Most of them are meditation techniques, but they seem to help.
About
Personality
Cool . Dependable . Adventurous . Happy

Kyo is the type of person who just seems to love life! He always seems to be happy and cheerful and makes the most of things. He's not overly loud or hyperactive, but his warm cheerfulness is clear to those who often interact with him. He's always friendly and goes out of his way to make people feel comfortable and happy, especially when he can tell there might be something up. He's the type who would tell someone to talk to him if anything is wrong and, naturally, he has a reputation for being very dependable. If you need someone to lean on or a shoulder to cry on Kyo will most likely be there.

Admittedly Kyo doesn't talk much about himself and that, combined with his charisma, makes him seem pretty "cool" in the eyes of others. He has a hard time believing this, though, and thinks that his extreme stage fright holds him back. Although he loves trying new things getting up on stage and having a large crowd of people watching him is something that always terrifies him. When it comes to singing he can barely sing to a group of five people without feeling nervous. He wants to get over this stage fright, though, and prove that he can make it as an entertainer too.

Story

Kyo was born and grew up with a very loving family. For a long time he was an only child, a miracle to his parents who thought they would never have kids, until his parents decided to start adopting when he reached school-age. Throughout his life growing up his parents would adopt a lot of kids giving him many younger siblings, but Kyo loved it. He liked having siblings around to look after and, when his parents were busy, he often took on the role of looking after them and doing chores. Kyo first learned to sing because he wanted to be able to sing lullabies to his siblings so they could go to sleep easier at night.

Overtime Kyo gained a love for singing and dancing and he began taking formal lessons. It didn't take long for him to gain a role in his first recital, but that's when things would go wrong. Everything went fine at first; he did everything just as practiced and found it to be a lot of fun. At some point though he wasn't watching where he was going, wrapped up in the performance, and actually fell off the stage. There were gasps and people making sure he was alright, but there was also lots of laughter. He was, after all, just a kid. The incident left an impact on him however and from that point on he developed a severe bout of stage fright. Anything that caused him to have to be on a stage in front of people sent fear ripping through him. Despite his parents encouragement Kyo would stop his lessons stating he no longer had an interest in singing and dancing.

That love really never left though. To fill the void Kyo found solace in watching idols perform. Watching and listening to them in private he would often follow along with the music and sing or dance to the performances. He loved idols because they were doing something he didn't think he could. One day, though, he would lose track of where he was and start singing while taking a walk through the park. It was late at night so he didn't think much of it, but he would cross paths with another person who just happened to be a scout. He was asked to come to an audition and handed a business card. Kyo acted politely, but pushed the thought to the back of his mind. Or tried to. Throughout the night, even after getitng home, the thought didn't leave him. Someone thought HE would make a good idol? That seemed ridiculous. Still... most people didn't get a chance like that. Was it his place to waste it? Kyo knew he wanted nothing more than to get over his stage fright. Against the negative thoughts that would flow through his head Kyo decided to go to the audition. He would eventually pass and form a group with four others which would be named "Afterlight".

Relationships
Hibiki Soma | Friend/Member

One of Kyo's friends and group mates. Kyo and Hibiki are good friends since they're both very cheerful and get along well! That said Kyo worries about Hibiki a lot too. He often seems too cheerful and like the type of person who would hide if something is wrong rather than tell people about it. Because of that he does his best to keep an eye on Hibiki.

Junpei Sasaki | Friend/Member

One of Kyo's friends and group mates. Kyo is often telling Junpei that he should just embrace the person he is, though he often feels that it falls on deaf ears. That said the two of them get along very well and they often watch anime together in their spare time. Kyo things he's a fantastic actor, just not when it comes to forcing his personality into something it's not.

Rei Amari | Friend/Member

One of Kyo's friends and groupmates. Their relationship was rocky at first since the two didn't seem to agree on much. Rei opposed his addition to the group because of his stage fright and, despite Kyo's attempts to be friendly, Rei often didn't respond well. Overtime though (once Rei began to drop his walls) the two grew much closer. He takes a lot of interest in Rei's music!

Yuuma Naito | Friend/Member

Kyo absolutely enjoys Yuuma's company and their friendly competitions. They often end up doing the housework and Kyo appreciates the help. However he does get the feeling Yuuma is hiding something... he understands keeping things private since he does too, but anytime he tries to ask Yuuma the subject gets changed and he decides to drop it. He hopes Yuuma will get more comfortable with them one day.

Mayu Honda | Friend/Manager

Kyo's friend and manager. Kyo is often the peacemaker for the group and finds himself trying to bring the group together for Mayu's sake. She appreciates his efforts and the two are very good friends. Usually, when Mayu is having a problem, she likes to talk to Kyo or Rei about it first.
