Nelly

penelope "nelly" seems to be perpetually angry, constantly sporting a frown and furrowed brow. she's often considered 'fancy' and is invested in gothic, dark and purple aesthetics, flaunting big dresses, and sunhats. she lives a luxurious life, often spent around shopping centers or at her penthouse. she often invites people to her pool on the roof

her and universe have a bit of a complicated relationship, 'seeing eachother' on and off without truly committing. universe is a lot more attached to their relationship, which he's bad at hiding, if he's even trying to. penelope isn't into it at all emotionally, but uni provides an escape from her 'high class' environment. 

penelope is best friends with grape, who's one of the few individuals capable of getting her out of her constant swampy mood. they do "rich people things" (as he'd describe it) together. their friendship is more about having a distraction from daily life than having someone to be open emotionally with, despite grape's mild concerns about penelope's behavior as first, he's come to accept it as her personality.
