Summary: 

Founder and leader of a secret organization formed to battle corruption in New London. 

He took the role as Basil's childhood Mentor/governor. He was friend's with Basil's father Cyrus since they were boys. 

In his 20s, Tar went to war, happy and prepared to fight for his country and people. He met a lot of friends there that he held onto for many years. Most notably he met Tetch in this war.

Taragon loves to make himself accessible as he values connections with others more than anything. Many will attest he is a genuinely great friend. Taragon gets happiness through helping others and being a positive part of other's lives. He has many friends, too many to count, but his closest friends include Fenugreek, Tetch, Cardamom, and Cyrus. 

Fenugreek is his best friend out of them all. They bicker and quarrel like an old married couple but they couldn't be closer and they respect each other highly. 

As far as relationships go, Taragon has a loose non-committal stance on the matter. He doesn't persue a relationship before conveying that he's only interested in keeping it casual. He's never dated a singular person long-term.

Tar is constantly running through options and typically prepared for anything. He expertly considers possibilities/weighs likelihoods and  when his plans are followed, missions run smoothly and without much unforeseen issue. With his knack for planning, he’s able to keep his engagements almost as if by magic. When asked how he does so much and  seems to be everywhere all the time, Tarragon insists: Good planning,  prioritizing, and motivation! 

If you are in trouble, he has a solution and is willing to help and fight for you.

He believes heavily in the concept of good and evil, and is a surprisingly good judge of character... unless he is too close to someone. His history with others keeps him tethered to them. He has a tough time pushing others away. Even if someone angers or disgusts him, he will still keep that person close, and may even pretend everything is fine. Although, he might have dark plans for people who wrong him drastically. 

He's always been a fighter and very wary of those in authority.  His mother can vouch for his fighting spirit! She loves him very much and he appreciates her more than anyone! Taragon can't stand being taken advantage of or being misled for reasons he doesn't approve of.  He doesn't like bullies and falsehood. He believes people with power should wield it honestly and with great care. He has high but realistic standards for those with power. He knows what it is to be a good leader. Not controlling and ordering, but an equal that sets a respectable example to follow. 

Above all, he wants to protect those close to him. He wants to give them a chance to be themself, to chase their own dreams without worrying about danger. He'd give up everything to do this, happily dying to protect others.
