Aitl

Aitl is a curious creature; he can come off ditzy and distant because... he is.

The truth is that, among his species, he was considered a powerful hand of justice-- his destiny was to uphold the cosmic law of minor beings (such as puny mortal humans, just as an example), the punishment being death and dismemberment, among other nasty business. 

Unfortunately his species is known for their unlucky brushes with amnesiac bouts on account of their temporal-hopping... Aitl has fallen prone to it far too often.
This occurrence is so common for Aitl that it isn't fair to say he has a distinctive underlying personality anymore-- his identity is so far gone that he is simply a forgetful, unsure, and perpetually ill-informed deity.

Despite being scatter-brained and confused, he's not completely regressed and immature. He can get a little proud on account of remembering his people and their place (especially when surrounded by other species that are nothing like him), and though he often asks ridiculous questions, there are just as many instances of him staying mum to keep from looking like an idiot.

Compared to the majority of his brethren, he will be the first to stay pacifistic and open-minded, against his true nature. He tries to grow and adapt. But, every time, there is a high chance he might not remember these 'odd' choices he once made.

TRIVIA AND NOTES:
-How to pronounce his name: "ate" with a ghost of the 'ell' sound on your tongue.
-Because it is rare for Aitl to see his kind in the worlds he stumbles upon, he often finds himself beguiled by other species all too easily. He is... A very lonely Elxin.
-He might be clueless as to his true potential, but he still has quite a bit of that inner and outer strength. It takes a lot to break him down. Like, a puny mortal army's worth of enemies to knock him about.
-In that same vein, Aitl is intrigued by others who hold great power like him. He would be interested to test his mettle (hopefully in gentler ways), though he never understands those impulses at this point...
