BACKSTORY:

Sandra grew up in a family of vampire hunters in the USA. They let her into their world, teaching her what they knew. Sandra always planned on moving to Europe someday and starting her own hunter business there.

Her last year of high school was marred by an abusive relationship and, believing she needed to stay busy to keep her mind off of it, she decided to move earlier than originally planned. With the support of her family, she relocated to the UK at age 21. She currently works with three other hunters, Lewis, Truman and Samantha, as the leader of 'Arcane' - a group dedicated to protecting people from the supernatural.

Sandra usually comes off as strict and stoic. She doesn't show much emotion, but that doesn't mean she's indifferent - she cares deeply for her friends, family, and job. She has difficulty forming close relationships even though she wants to. This partially stems from a bad past relationship that left her extremely wary of letting her guard down. She also wants to appear 'professional', which causes her to excessively control and hide her emotions.

Sandra is surprisingly shy beneath her cool exterior. She's self-conscious and doesn't consider herself to be of much use to anyone, dedicating her life to vampire hunting because she thinks it's the only thing she can excel at. She is also somewhat of a perfectionist, disliking when things aren't done 'right'.

Though hard for many to believe, Sandra has a soft side. She's a good listener and always willing to offer calm, sensible suggestions to anyone who needs her help. While it's usually her employees who hunt vampires, Sandra is unafraid to enter the fray herself when more hands are needed. She still struggles with 'being herself', even among friends, but is gradually learning to relax and enjoy other things in life besides work.

DESIGN:

Sandra has an average build and slightly above average height. Her hair is shoulder-length, straight and blond. Her eyes are dark blue and she usually wears oval-shaped glasses.

She tends to wear blouses or buttoned shirts paired with longer skirts, and strongly avoids impractical shoes like high heels. Though rarely seen, she has a thin scar just beneath her collarbone from a knife wound.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Truman

One of Sandra's employees. Though she is sometimes bothered by Truman's tendency to not take things seriously, she respects him deeply as a fellow hunter.

Lewis

One of Sandra's employees. They develop a tentative friendship after a few years of working together, and nowadays are very loyal to each other. They are close, but somewhat reserved around each other, as neither are particularly sociable nor openly emotional. In the distant future, they become a couple.

Samantha

Sandra and Sam are close friends, having met online while they were still living in different countries. It could be said that Sam is the only person Sandra feels completely at ease around.

TRIVIA:

- Though not diagnosed with it, she might have mild OCD. She has a few ritualistic habits and is very particular about objects being in the 'right' places.

- Owns a silver Mazda 6.

- Has a pet goldfish named Fish that she talks to out loud when no-one is around.

- She does not earn any money from her vampire-hunting job besides gifts and donations. Most of her funding comes from her family in America. Though she dislikes being reliant on them, she doesn't have much choice at the moment.
