- Beyond gender in a more non-human way than my other enby characters (and myself), Ione does not feel a strong preference for anything in terms of pronouns. They just ... exist, feeling separate from other people and their talk of sexuality and gender.
- They value cleanliness and manners, with an emphasis on the latter.
- They are not well-versed in social cues, and have learned to just quietly listen to others unless around people they trust.

Backstory
A creation come to life thanks to a curious apprentice. At first an empty shell, Ione has become a person all their own with help from Briar and the apprentice. Ione has never officially met the one who helped Zyles create them, but they do wish to someday. One set of clothes was actually made by their creator, and Ione values it highly, since it is one of the only "gifts" they have from their mysterious maker. Ione will get very upset if anything stains it, but they will still wear it as everyday clothes (just not outside).
(Information that Ione does not know- Their body was a creative test, a prototype of sorts. The creator wanted to see what they were capable of, and needed the practice for future work anyway. It was of course extremely expensive to make, so the doll-like body was stored properly. Nonetheless, it was forgotten about and kept for future uses, such as an emergency body for a soul, or as a vessel for a future experiment. Although human inside and out, catch them in the right light, and Ione can look just a little off.)
Although Ione was "born" recently, and does not have a lot of experience with the outside world, they are far from a child. They are physically and mentally around 23-ish, only lacking in general social cues and world knowledge. If anyone asks, it is easy enough to believe that they grew up extremely sheltered.
They do not go out much, and were kept hidden when they were first brought to Zyles and Briar's home, but they have been getting out more and more as they learn and grow as a person. Everyone's ultimate goal for them, themselves included, is for Ione to become a functioning member of society, different from others only in their origin. In general, help them to lead a normal-ish life.

Briar
Briar has taught Ione about the outside world, particularly history. They are close friends, with both of them feeling comfortable info dumping about their interests. They have a shared love for history.
Zyles
Zyles gave Ione life, and is the only "parental" figure they have ever had, although the two are not far in perceived age. Zyles is away for work a lot of the time, but tries to help Ione when they can, mostly through teaching mathematics and science.
