Backstory
An apprentice to a very private scientist, Zyles tends to dabble in some rather ... uncommon experiments. More specifically, they work with the general distribution of life; taking from something, giving it to something else, and sometimes creating something entirely new. They spend most of their time working with their master, the scientist, leaving little time for socialization.
Zyles and Briar's parents died a few years ago. Although Zyles was already working with the scientist, it was only after the event that Zyles went from mere intern/student to a fully committed apprentice determined to learn. This left Briar to deal with things on their own, though they never bring the subject up to Zyles directly. Meanwhile, the scientist is not completely okay with what they believe are Zyles' goals in working with them, but is not against the help either.

Hibiki
An old creation of Zyles's master. Hibiki knows Zyles as a distant, old friend. Someone safe to go to. Zyles is cautious of Hibiki, but knows that their master has love in their heart for both Hibiki and Virus, so they are never outwardly hostile to either.
Briar
Zyles is Briar's older sibling. They aren't extremely close, but they do care a lot about each other.
Ione
With the guidance of their master, Zyles was able to give Ione, an empty shell from a past experiment, life. Zyles keeps an eye on them and spends what little free time they have teaching Ione about life. Although not necessarily emotionally close, Zyles does care about Ione.
