After the Dragon Lord, the Master of the Three Primoridal Elements, set Time into motion, began the expansion of Space and formed the foundations of Matter, the Dragon Lord would create the concepts of the Binding Elements, that would all stem from the third Primordial Element, Matter, and be used to create the Matter that would form the objects in the universe. These Binding Elements would be endowed onto a certain Servant Dragon, whom the Dragon Lord would create to embody and be the Masters of these domains. These Servant Dragons were Vestultior, Master of Flame and the Earth, Paxora, Master of Life and Death, Tohochea, Master of Water, Aerispho, Master of Air and finally, and most importantly to Rena, Thundraeys, Master of the Flows.

The Achilles Project

Thousands upon thousands of years into the future, up and coming politician, Winston Sylva, engrossed in the esotericism and mysteries of the dying Aethraclair religion, would move to develop and begin plans to create weapons to not only aid Ashya in the ever-present and continuing cold war against their geopolitical rival, but also to serve himself. Partnering with renowned geneticist Dr. Lycia Orlando and with the matriarch of one of Ashya's most powerful criminal houses, Alexandria Rathmore, Winston would begin to track down parts from the Servant Dragons and their Artifacts, powerful gems containing a fraction of the Servant Dragon's power and the element they embody. Utilizing the fragments of the Servant Dragons acquired by House Rathmore, combined with Dr. Orlando's genetic prowess and Winston's instruction, along with a more trascendent and sinister entity, the BEAST-Types, and Rena, were created.

Raised along with her siblings, each varying big cats, Rena would learn from her siblings from a very young age that there was something not quite right about them. It was not that her siblings did not look like her, Neptune was white and striped with black while Maahes was beginning to grow a mane around his head and neck, nor was it that they slept, ate, played and were...tested on in a sterile, hostile environment that was not where they should be. No, it was that there was something deeply powerful and incomprehensible to them all inside of them. They each learned early on, that tapping into this power was dangerous, and so Rena and her siblings learned to not only control this power to keep it from erupting, but also to keep it a secret from their caretakers, and their mother. This would be proven when one day their sister, Persephone, would vanish. And while they would gain a new brother, Actaeon, who was like Persephone but not quite, they too would teach him that tapping into the power inside of them could consume and destroy them.

Visitation

One peculiar night, Rena found herself staring at a man whom she had not seen. Though he didn't remain for long, frightened by her appearence, though Rena had found he had left the door open. Curiosity and the urge to see the world overtook her, and she escaped from the facility she had known all her life. Later in the night, in her dreams, she was visited by her progenitor, Thundraeys who instructed her with a mission: Recover Paxora's Skull from Winston's possession, or relocate any of the remaining Dragon Artifacts to a new location, to prevent the unsealing and escape of Semyrhais, an ethereal dragon with the power to tear the universe asunder. Rena would set off to do this, but not before trying to track down the man who had unwittingly freed her, Farran. The two would play a game in Rena's eyes, one of cat and mouse, but they would eventually form a companionship, after Rena would show Farran she did not intend to eat him after she would use her abilities over heat and cold to prevent him from freezing to death. It was some months later, that they would meet a curious and peculiar woman named Aspen, and it was then that Rena knew it was time to embark on the mission Thundraeys had laid out for her. If only she could communicate to the other two that it was unneccessary, if not detrimental, to locate all of the Dragon Artifacts...
