Physical Appearance

• Short/medium length blond hair, sometimes tied back into a short ponytail
• Golden eyes
• Fair skinned with a mild tan
• Medium in height
• Physically fit with a slender build
• Markings of Lytenin symbols around left eye
• Body is made out of electricity while in elemental form, and he can manipulate his shape however he likes, although it usually defaults to a reptilian (typically snake-ish) shape

Clothing Style

Karinaga's common outfit while out and about in Uniselias consists of a short sleeved white top and a mahogany vest along with black and white pants and mahogany boots with black and gray straps. He will usually wear a high collared, reinforced vest over this as light armor to protect his chest/abdomen from the Enlightened's signature Plasma rifles. The vest is shock-proof for Plasma shots, but it has no negative impact on his own Lytenin rifting. He'll also have two crossing gray straps across his shoulders and chest when training his rifting, since he still hasn't gotten the hang of using his rifting at full potential without shifting into his Elemental form, and these straps have been attuned to help keep him out of Elemental form. The straps will glow with yellow Lytenin runes across the bands when suppressing his Elemental form, and the buckle at the straps' intersection serves as both a means of removing them and toggling the runes (they are always fully gray unless he's specifically in training). Karinaga will also frequently wear black fingerless gloves to help suppress his rifting in his hands overall, since he can sometimes shock people on accident if he gets too worked up. He will remove them upon encountering danger though.

Personality

Karinaga is an optimistic and energetic boy with a healthy curiosity and a strong belief in the good nature of humanity. He usually comes off as very friendly and sweet but also a bit naive. He seems to be the polar opposite of his father, being kind, trusting, and believing that people naturally are good. He likes making new friends and seeing new places, and he can be a bit too curious about the unknown for his own good. Karinaga is always eager to learn and make new discoveries, but he can sometimes get in over his head since he doesn't always think things through too deeply. He's by no means brash, but he does tend to be impulsive when the possible risks aren't very obvious. Although he can be rather brave and level headed even in chaotic situations, he can get easily rattled when he faces something that he cannot handle on his own.

Karinaga has a very strong bond with his father, Althius. He's not particularly clingy with his father, but he does appreciate how protective Althius can be with him, especially since he has the utmost faith in his father's capabilities. Naga loves to watch his father in action when combating the Enlightened, but he can also be rather inattentive if he gets too focused on him. Nothing can shake him more than seeing his father having trouble or encountering something he can't handle, and Naga can be his most irrational if his father is in danger since he will do anything to help him, even if there's likely nothing he could do. Naga also doesn't seem to grasp how mistrustful and opportunistic his father can be, and he fully believes his father's good nature to the point of blindly trusting him and denying any suggestions otherwise.

• Very attached to his father and unwilling to believe he could do any wrong

Backstory

Karinaga doesn't know much about his very early life, but it was clear that he was born and raised for a short time by his mother, Xareia. While he was still too young to remember her, he was taken to Uniselias to meet his father, Althius. However, his mother left Karinaga there and fled before anyone was aware of what she had done. She hasn't been heard from since.

Karinaga grew up under the care of his father and the other Channelers of Uniselias, and due to this he has a keen sense for the spirits and elements of the planet, making him a prime candidate for a future Channeler after the appropriate training. For the time being, he spends his time exploring and learning under the watchful eye of his father, but as much as he'd love to live a carefree life the fact remains that their planet is at war with the Enlightened.
