Physical Appearance

• Medium length dark brown hair, bangs cover right eye
• Red eyes
• Dark brown fur on ears and tail

Clothing Style

Inferanos tends to wear mostly browns and reds with some black and yellow accents, which tends to resemble a somewhat burnt palette choice. He most frequently wears a dark brown trench coat he rarely fastens all the way (his wife complains he always looks like it's falling off him when he goes out) along with a black sleeveless top, black pants, and dark brown and red boots. He'll almost always wear a leather choker with a black and red triangular pattern along with a headband with the same pattern. He'll also wear a necklace that is some kind of hook-shaped charm made of bone with symbols carved into it. His earrings are usually gold colored, his wedding band is also gold, and he usually wears a shoulder guard on his left side that has a six-pointed star symbol on it with circles in each concave angle. In Cycleandre, partners would always wear one shoulder guard, each wearing the opposite side. This shoulder guard was one of a pair that was worn with his late partner, Rondray, and Inferanos rarely goes out without it on.

Personality

In his youth, Inferanos was a rather impatient and aggressively passionate fighter who was always seeking to better his skills. He could be a bit too serious and would get irritated by others who didn't take their training or missions as seriously as he thought they should. He could be rather uptight at times, and he was often too hard on himself for his own mistakes. After his partnership with Rondray, Inferanos learned to be more level headed and loosened up a bit, although he's still a bit rigid sometimes. Since Rondray's death, he's been more listless and lower energy, but he can still get fired up rather easily due to his hot temper and lingering pet peeve about irresponsible or lazy people.

Currently Inferanos is much more mellow and content with his life after marrying and settling in Uniselias. Although the Enlightened threatens this world, the regular conflicts don't seem to negatively affect him due to his hometown's culture of fighting. He tends to be the calm and focused half to his wife's high energy, and he can sometimes still be a bit of a stick in the mud and be too serious about his goals. However, he can be casual and lighthearted around his peers and has learned to have a better sense of humor. He works best when around his wife and her over the top personality, and he can force himself to be more patient so he can properly support her. He doesn't tend to talk very much and tends to get lost in his own thoughts when following his wife around, but he's obviously an intelligent and cunning man with his years of experience as a warrior and leader.

Backstory

Inferanos was born and raised in Cycleandre, and like everyone else was trained to be a skilled rifter. His highest proficiency was in combat, so he trained to be a warrior and was assigned a partner at the age of 16 as tradition dictated. He wasn't particularly thrilled about his partner though, who was a somewhat lax and daydreaming Draconen named Rondray. The two were polar opposites when it came to their personalities, preferred strategies, and views on most things, Inferanos being brash, aggressive, and preferring to take things head on while Rondray was serene, calm, and a deliberator. Particularly Inferanos was very hard on himself about his mistakes whereas Rondray took everything in stride, which created a lot of tension on Inferanos's side when he interpretted his partner as carefree and far too mellow and unfocused to be in combat. Although Rondray's combat skills and rifting were about equal with Inferanos (though Rondray had an edge in rifting while being slightly less skilled in hand to hand combat) Inferanos never felt he could trust his partner to have his back due to his lack of seriousness in most instances.

This changed a few years down the road. The two were a competent team that managed to work around their inability to see eye to eye on most things, so even though they didn't particularly enjoy each others' company they were still held in high esteem compared to the other warriors in their age group. Their reputation earned them the honor of taking on more difficult tasks, which they completed mostly without issue until an encounter with a particular Fyre Elemental. During their first fight with the creature, Inferanos was knocked unconscious when the Elemental set off volcanic eruptions around the area, and he was flung off a plateau into a hot spring river valley. When he awoke, he found himself in a nearby cavern with Rondray keeping watch at the entrance, one of his wings crushed. Apparently Rondray had saved him from drowning and the Elemental was now hunting them down. Although Inferanos was relatively unharmed due to simply being a Fyre rifting Demi Demon, Rondray was severely injured by diving into the hot spring due to being part Elemental, and he was in too much pain to move quickly or rift. The two ended up having to work carefully together, first to elude the Elemental and escape the valley and then to make it back to town to recover. After regaining their strength and reevaluating their tactics, their second attempt although challenging went much smoother, and so did their relationship from then on.

Inferanos and Rondray remained some of the most respected warriors of Cycleandre for years until one invasion by Yamilan rogues resulted in Rondray's death. Inferanos blamed himself entirely for not being there for his partner, and he fell into a depression for a seemingly endless period of time. Despite still performing well as a warrior, he could never get over the emptiness he felt each time he went out without his partner. After some time, Inferanos ended up leaving Cycleandre for Daliarivon to do some soul searching. He ended up drowning his sorrows at bars and clubs, drinking to cope and spending his time socializing and hooking up with interesting women he encountered.

In particular he encountered a Nanikan named Nateriana frequently, and they tended to gravitate back toward each other more often until they scarcely saw anyone else and considered each other as steady lovers. Although he never intended to do so, Inferanos ended up really falling for her and eventually proposed to her, even when he knew she was to serve as the next Fyre Channeler of Doobutsu Tenshi. He then moved there with her and has been helping in the fight against the Enlightened and the Army of the Dark ever since.
