Physical Appearance

• Long blonde hair with uneven bangs
• Blue eyes
• Fair skinned with a decent tan
• Light freckles on face
• Somewhat short in height, although average for her age
• Physically fit with a slim but athletic build for an active girl
• Flat/undeveloped figure as a child
• Small breasts and a very slight/still somewhat flat figure when she gets older
• Early on in her story she is blessed by a bird spirit and gains magically-retractable arm feathers/wings

Clothing Style

Sparkie tends to dress in bright/light and "happy" colors that compliment her bubbly personality. She prefers summery outfits since she lives in California, and she'll wear a variety of tops with pants, shorts, skirts, and/or leggings or dresses. She has a rather playful and girly look to her outfits, but they typically aren't too ornate, frilly, or complicated since she is very active and won't wear anything that would likely get caught on anything. Her favorite colors are yellow and blue, and her favorite designs/motifs involve birds or the sky.

Personality

Sparkie is an energetic and optimistic girl who loves nothing more than birds and being in flight. She tends to be rather loud and childish, and most people tend to think she acts too young for her age despite still being a child. Sparkie has a playful and free spirit, and she can be quite a handful for the people that look after her. She tends to be loud and carefree, and she comes off as annoying at times. She's a bit naive and sees most of the world as a happy and wonderful place, although she's not dumb enough to get herself into obvious trouble or get involved with sketchy people. She's actually more clever than most people give her credit for, and she picks up on cues and new concepts rather quickly. She also tends to ask a lot of questions, and she finds that learning new things through experience is the most fun.

Sparkie loves birds and had this childish dream of learning to fly on her own, which is why her experience on Doobutsu Tenshi was so exciting for her despite the danger. When back home, she likes jumping off stuff (although her caretakers have insisted she only do so safely, like into a ball pit or the like) and she finds flying in airplanes or helicopters exhilarating. Since her uncle has a lot of money, she often gets to travel in such ways, and although she's not rotten she does get spoiled a lot. Her greatest weakness is likely her innocence and idealism, for she tends to think things are going to turn out fine in the end anyway so she doesn't tend to worry about things. While this optimism can be beneficial in certain situations since she doesn't get down easily, she's not always realistic about her expectations for a happy ending all the time.

Abilities

• Ayr rifting - rank 3/5
• Shapeshifting - can turn into a yellow bird that resembles something like a falcon sized canary
• Can turn into an Ayr elemental bird which is much larger and stronger if she is channeling her Spirit Anima
• Proficient at ballet, although she could probably do better if she took it a little more seriously

Strengths

• Does best in social environments and is very kind/welcoming to anyone she meets
• Always willing to learn or help others no matter the inconvenience, and she learns quickly and retains information well
• Confident, assertive, and loyal to those she bonds with

• A bit too hyperactive and loud, and she's also too whimsical/all over the place
• Somewhat naive about the real world and hasn't really encountered extreme hardship yet
• Careless and her enthusiasm translates into her being recklessly fearless
• Young and rather small, making her somewhat weak and dependent on her wits and rifting to protect herself

Backstory

Sparkie is a rather odd and energetic girl who is in the care of her uncle, who is a rich man with an important political position that she doesn't really elaborate on much. Although he's often busy, he makes as much time as he can to treat his beloved niece to anything she desires and spoils her considerably. Although Sparkie isn't that knowledgeable about the real world and is definitely in her own little bubble of riches and happiness, this hasn't made her any less down to earth and well meaning. She loves nature and animals, especially birds, and although she's not entirely sure what she wants to do with her life yet, she knows she likes traveling and flying to see exciting new things.

Her only real exposure to the real world seems to be when she's visiting her aunt's family, which consists of twin cousins, Mark and Marcie (whom she has nicknamed Ki and Mims since she was a toddler), and their adopted brother that legally goes by Luke (but she calls him Maney for some reason, probably his messy hair). She loves spending time with her family since she's an only child and doesn't have other "kids" to interact with much otherwise.

When she was 10 years old, Luke was threaten by a foreign terror group called the Enlightened, and she unexpectedly gets caught up in the trials of his destiny when they are whisked away to the foreign world of Doobutsu Tenshi. Fortunately Sparkie took this encounter with war rather well, mostly because here she was blessed with a bird spirit and gifted the power over air by the Ayr Channeler, Arial. Sparkie would say this dire event was the best thing that ever happened to her.
