Huangzhou Rui

Rui is the main guitarist of Zebra Stripe. On the quiet and untalkative side, Rui is shy around new people and keeps to himself. The more comfortable he is around someone, the more blunt and emotional his responses become. Despite his somewhat intimidating and aloof presence, he's quite kind and understanding of people.

Rui is the child of wealthy Chinese immigrants who have since separated. Having immigrated to Japan when he was young, he's fully integrated to Japanese culture and speaks the language better than his first language, Cantonese. He's been pretty financially comfortable his whole life thanks to his family, but he lives modestly and doesn't take much for granted. Like Kaho, Rui is closer to his extended family than his parents, and performed for them a lot at family gatherings. He now works part-time at a record store to be independent.

• Though he looks sloppy due to his untamed hair and his clothes magically wrinkling up everytime he wears them, he's actually quite immaculate and exact about how he does everything. He's not fond of mess.
• He is a fan of Shouta's band, and can't believe that Kaho is related to him.
