Basics
Sophronia is extremely dedicated to her work but doesn't let it overtake her. She is amiable and bubbly, though she finds it hard to connect to other beings either due to her race or her hyperfixations. She enjoys Noachis for its wealth of opportunities and resources. She often works herself a bit too hard but will always make time to see old friends or help out a colleague. It's harder for her to trust people lately.

About
Ronnie is an ambitious inventor who loves to socialize just as much as she loves to work. She's equally likely to work for three days straight without rest as she is to talk to someone for three hours without stopping. She finds it hard to connect with other beings - and, lately, to trust - but she does her best.
pre-campaign
A mad scientist of sorts, Sophronia has lived in Noachis since Edmund Rafferty's time as head of the University. She has completely absorbed herself into her studies, amazed at the wealth of knowledge the Mysticeti has given to the town. Through the technological advances already in place she has created many impressive inventions, most notably the trolley and blimp used by the city for transportation and exploration. She is awkward when it comes to personal relationships but she has become fast friends with Barnaby and August, two relative newcomers to the city. She has been friends with Cetus for his entire life, having moved to town when he was a young boy. Her friendship with him is almost maternal, but still sees him as a dear companion.
post-campaign
Finding out that Cetus, his family, and most of her coworkers had been lying to and using her hurt Sophronia deeply. She took it upon herself to lead the University in the absence of the Rafferty family and does so quite well, though her previous ties to the Rafferty family lead many to doubt her.
Shortly after she takes over the reins as President she falls pregnant. Though being a new single mother is hard enough without the responsibilities of a new University position, Sophronia takes both on with equal vigor and dotes on her sweet baby boy Xander whenever she isn't working or heading classes.
Relationships
Cetus [ former friend ]
When Ronnie came to Noachis Cetus was extremely young, so she started out as more of a babysitter for him. Because of their difference in lifespans Cetus grew much quicker than Sophronia, and the two became good friends. This changes once Ronnie learns how Cetus and his family abused their power in the town. After he is banished, Sophronia does her best to distance herself from him, but fate brings their sons together, much to her dismay.
Selah [ former friend ]
Selah is one of the few beings who has not only lived as long as she has in Noachis, but one of the ones she was able to connect to. The two bonded over discussions of ancient magics and technology and served as company over the years as others came and went. Sophronia, upon learning of Selah's abuse of power (and more importantly, abuse of Cetus), helps the adventuring party dispose of her. Though Sophronia knows it was for the best, it haunts her to have had a part in her friend's death.
Barnaby [ friend ]
Barnaby is one of the few beings in Noachis who can match Ronnie in enthusiasm, and the two become fast friends. Following the reveal of the Rafferty family's betrayal, the two become even closer and confide in each other above all others. Barnaby constantly comes to Ronnie's aid when she is struggling with her new position, especially when she had to take maternal leave.
August [ friend ]
August and Sophronia work together often, as Ronnie tests the alternative fuel August makes with leftover plant matter from her shop. Following the Reconstruction the two become closer friends who depend on each other for strength.
Xander [ son ]
Ronnie had always loved children, growing up with much younger siblings. She did not, however, anticipate becoming a parent quite so suddenly, and especially not right when she had settled into her presidency. Right away she was absolutely smitten with her son, making sure he had everything he needed to keep active and engaged. This proves difficult as he gets older and more and more manic, like her. While he is very flighty and often wanders away unannounced, she trusts that he will take care of himself.
