Lainyng

Lainyng is in charge of Direct Human Studies on a spaceship orbiting Earth (well, L4). She reports to Counsellor Grerbe. She was the one to preside over Alice Jenkins' abduction - it was zero impact! The human didn't even know it happened! - and welcomed the now goo girl Alice to the ship.

Lainyng was one of the few people to officially take a new name - a "Human Inspired" name - during their science mission. But the random sample chooser keeps selecting non-mandarin-speaking subjects, so nobody is able to appreciate it.
