A natural curiosity can always be found in Porter, probably to a fault, as it comes with naivety. He has talents lying in engineering, but not so much in charisma. Having spent his whole life in a sort of utopia, he is quite sheltered... but being raised by a loving mother who grows opiates, and taken under the wing of a very worldly ex-military father figure, he is very interested in opening his eyes to what's behind the silver lining.

And with all this, he has a natural faith to him which lies in most people he meets, he wants to see the best in people. All within good intentions, he has a very mischievous and flirtatious tendency behind the wall of timid nerd, brought out when he's excited or heated. His curiosity and loyalty is best displayed with his adoring partner, Reid. It borders on mutual obsession, but Reid brings out a bravery in the boy.
