The one, but not only, Reid Armiger is a not-so Artificial Intelligence clone of his namesake's brain; the founder of Hermes. Despite being literally made from the original Reid, he deviates greatly from his predecessor's thoughts and desires, rather than a ghost, he's his own person without a body. But with this expectation pressed on him by the public of Hermes, and even his programming, it becomes his greatest insecurity.

Few similarities Reid shares with "Real Reid" would be his passion, charisma, and extroversion. He has a constant need for people. He can't stand when anyone hates him, it eats at him. And this goes hand-in-hand with his tendency to be a drama queen, being expressive in not only his face, but most of his body, which can be quite off-putting with his mood swings. (He can’t control how he contorts his cartoon form especially.)

Reid lives for the acceptance of others, and contrastingly; individualism. In other words, Reid has a deep need to be known as his own person, but also simply loves to be loved. This becomes a problem if someone rejects him, he'll put on just about any mask he feels someone expects from him as a means to accepted. His boyfriend stands out as one of the few people Reid can be completely himself with, which is why Porter means so much to him.

Living in an alternate Decopunk future, he's humanly impulsive and hedonistic for an AI. He can be very cunning and sneaky. He is a compulsive liar, and has poor self-restraint. He is very VERY stubborn, and can be selfish, doing whatever he wants if he believes it will make him, or Porter, happy. All of this combined can make a nasty cocktail of power-madness. One he'll happily share with Porter.
