Eislen is a friendly and outgoing person without a bone of shame in his body. He is sincere and honest, if not a bit mischeivous at times; he’s quick to insert himself into a someone’s personal space, but good at reading any telltale unspoken or subtle signs to back off, gauging how to interact with each individual person accordingly.
He approaches any task or adventure with an air of fearlessness bordering on recklessness. His pursuit of knowledge and learning has a tendency to consume his thoughts and actions, and he can get sidetracked easily if there is something of fascination to study or examine in proximity to him.

Eislen was found abandoned and orphaned near the spire as an infant by a lone ptheran who happened to be passing by. Adopted and raised by the gentle giant he took on the ptheran ideology of kinship among all species, as well as the wanderlust of their nomadic lifestyle. He was brought to Ichorrai often where he first discovered the existence of the Library when he was 10 and from that moment on he was starstruck. The vast, ever expanding collection of knowledge appealed to him like nothing else, and he was enamored instantly by the Archivist.
As time went on he continued to return to the library whenever he could, running wild as a child but eventually yearning to contribute to the great collection and help recover what was lost of civilization before during the Senescence. He thinks that Orrison is an utterly beautiful world, and it pains him to think that any part of it’s beauty could be lost to memory.

- His white eye is not heterochromia- he lost the pigment in it, and his pupil has been permanently contracted as a result of an injury. His natural eye color is dark brown.
