Olivia Sauer, more known to her compatriots as 'Etcher' is the chairman of Cape co., a company specializing in magical related research, while also producing and selling textiles and fabric on the side.
Personality
She's always been kind, altruistic, always looking out for the good of the people from a young age. Her status as the daughter of the reigning monarch of Aithora allowed her access to the nation's best resources.
She's always been interested in magic, hoping to one day introduce it to the people.
She's very skilled in many subjects and skills, and is always straight forward and friendly with her words. She's a very good public speaker and very good at socialising, and it's very easy to engage in a conversation with her

Magic
Although her company specialises in magic, her own usage of it is rudimentary, and she doesn't quite have a category of magic that she excels in.
She mostly uses strength enhancing magic, but she also likes to use it to make cut flowers look nicer, fresher. Other areas she's dabbled in includes trying to levitate stuff, but she always finds it too stiff and clumsy, unlike how everyone else seems to be able to do it flawlessly

Relationships
Julien - Close friend. um. wip because it has been a very long time since i have thought about him
Byrd - Boss and Mentor, helped Byrd recuperate then eventually taught her about magic
Jade - (not canon but I like thinking about their dynamic) acquaintance, friend, they deeply respect each other and simultaneously hate the things each other have done.
Scarlett - Enemy. the reason is literally a story spoiler (i think. i'm still writing it. sorry) but Etcher does not respect Scarlett, literally thinks of her less than the dirt beneath her feet. With the recent developments Etcher now thinks of Scarlett as an active threat. No emotion behind it, really, just wants her gone.
Other Notes
for some reason I had 'bad at cooking' in her bio at some point.
her company, Cape co. is like, a funny wordplay thing when combined with her name. like. Etcher Sauer, E.S. of Cape co., spells out escape. right. metaphorical escape from the past strife, conflict, into a safer world, some idealistic stuff like that. yeah idk.
this is more for me as a reminder but fabric and magic go very well together, with certain fabrics being a very good channel for magic to flow through.
She currently lives in the Midlands, having fled there after political unrest from her home country.

She's got a bit of a green thumb. Or a black thumb, depending on your perspective. Her plants always seem to grow so healthily, but the day they mature, it's always dead the next day, for some reason.
