Lawrence Winchester's Links
It was easier than Lawrence thought getting Roy on his side. He's definitely grateful she didn't use that sword against him, but with that sword finally working, he hopes she'll try and stand up to August's dictatorship.
Lawrence insisted he was here to help. Of course Royelle was nervous, but he didn't seem like he was lying. Plus, he's hot. She decided to trust him, letting him help her with her disguise. He wants to find out what the emperor is really up to, and though Roy's against it, it doesn't seem like she has much of a choice.
Lawrence has been at August's service the minute he graduated the academy. He was happy at first, but now hopes dearly for someone to stop this mad ruler.
August was interested in this unusual mage. Guns? That's new. Entertaining at first, but even that grew dull. Although the emperor does get some enjoyment in watching meager peasants try to beat his mage.
Lou is a pain in Lawrence's side. Her healing knowledge is impressive, sure, but she just has something over Roy's head. Roy's like a dog in heat around her, and it takes everything in the mage to keep a tight leash on her.
Lou isn't quite sure why, but Lawrence always seems to be so stressed. Surely a mage would be used to adventuring, so it's likely not that...perhaps he's fighting off being sick? That absolutely won't do if that's the case! Perhaps some sweets will help him open up to her about what's causing him so much worry...
[Love Interest] Lawrence had heard many tales of Cathal's Champion the his direct successors, and was no disappointed when he saw Sigmund's skills. He holds admiration and even some interest for the mage, but hopes he can keep him away from the truth of their mission.
Sigmund definitely was impressed with Winchester's use of guns and magic. But together? He was simply admired with his skill set. He decided to follow Lawrence on his mission out of his own personal concern, and would do his best to protect him and their traveling companions along the way.
Arsenio claims to not be strong in magic, but he's very capable in a fight against both Lawrence and the other knight. Even scarier, the elf king tends to shrug off his ammunition and charges forward to swing a giant axe at him!! Every time the king visits, Lawrence gets tense.
Using magic, which already gives you a long distance advantage, to manipulate guns? It dumbfounds Arsenio. Is it innovating and adaptive to the times, or just lazy in a new light? He'd much prefer a fight. How does the emperor believe this to be a good idea?
