Profile

At first impression, Morgam is a soft-voiced and obedient servant, tending to his king Medet with docile and reserved decorum. Beneath that however, Morgam is an incredibly twisted and two-faced indvidual who quite gladly joined the evil king's rotting army. Even the gnarled monster soldiers that have become tangled in that manipulative side of him know to be wary of this small human man.

Morgam was originally a normal human, but spends so much time at the side of the corrupting king that his master's influence has significantly altered his physiology. His body grows a strange ribbed chitinous substance under his skin, which splits to expose it once it grows hard. Internally he is even more of a mess, with most of his internal organs and blood being replaced by black sludge that tends to leak from his nose or mouth when he gets agitated. Morgam's alterations serve no purpose and don't grant him any special abilities beyond being less affected by injury than he once was. His only "power" so to speak is as head of household staff: he has free roam of the king's tower, including many places he probably shouldn't have access to, and has discovered he can to a small extent manipulate the undead crystal substance of the tower itself.

Morgam was destroyed along with all the rest of the king's army when his power abruptly ceased to support them on his death. It's unlikely he would have lived much longer, however, as the internal rot was destroying him and he wasn't deliberately constructed to withstand it. During his time in the army Morgam performed his butler duties with quiet competence, but spent the rest of his time weaving elaborate manipulative games with both enemy soldiers and his own monster army. Greatly attracted to the monstrous and the obscene, nevertheless his greatest desires were for his king; knowing however that making any advances in that area would most likely be a death sentence, Morgam spent all of his short castle life in quiet, dutiful pining.
