  • Eminent's eyes are the same colour as her son, Aisu. Hex code #4F8999. She has a scar over her left eye, this is not an optional design choice.

  • prior to pokeplace v4, Eminent was a normal purple colour. The stress from Kay's death caused her to turn grey like she presently is.

  • scarf is optional? Sorta. I normally draw her with it but it's not required.

03 — Background

Pokemon Square was not always the peaceful village it is now. In CRY 154 the Square was plagued with a civil war between the staunch “traditionalists” and the “freedom fighters” (as they were called). Many Pokemon believed that the Square needed to keep the traditional values, where women cared for the children and were good homemakers while the husbands worked and ran as officials. The freedom fighters were led primarily by Rococo Ree and his wife, Laika Ree. The traditionalists mainly saw the Cassius family (which had been the family of village elders for generations) and the Skyali family. The figureheads on this side were Elder Dragonite Cassius and Alexander Skyali, who sought to keep things “the way they were”.

The civil war was ended with a treaty after the death of Laika, who’s bravery had never been seen before, leaping into action during a flood that the village was sorely unprepared for, saving countless children during the flood before the rapids took her as well. Notable lives saved that day were her own daughter, Dawn Ree, as well as the life of Charmander Cassius, the future village elder. Reluctantly, Dragonite saw the value in women holding roles of power, as without Laika’s bravery, the bloodline would have been lost. While some people still hold onto these ideals, in the modern age, they are mostly ignored. With the current village elder, Leonard Cassius, training his daughter, Sophie, to become the next village elder, as well as the first female elder.

However, in the 160s-170s, these ideas were stronger than ever, especially as the children that saw the civil war and grew up with their parents fighting in it tended to lean towards the ideals of their parents. This was certainly true for Solarus Skyali, son of Alexander Skyali.

Alexander sought to cripple the “rebellion” following Dragonite settling the war, unsatisfied with the result. His plan to do so? Set his own son up with the daughter of the rebellious leaders and mold her into the type of woman that Laika would have detested. Unfortunately, he was largely successful in this. Dawn was submissive, not really one to talk back or have a backbone, much unlike her mother. Solarus had scored the perfect trophy wife, and all he needed now were some sons to really run the show and overturn the “weak” Cassius family like his father had always wanted. However, unfortunately for Solarus, Dawn and him were blessed with their first child, a silver female Eevee. Solarus was immediately upset, refusing to name or even hold his child. Dawn sighed, naming the girl “Luna Eurydice Skyali” and doing her best to raise her as a solo parent, as Solarus wanted nothing to do with her.

Solarus pestered Dawn for another child for a long while after Luna was born in 168, but most of their attempts resulted in an unviable pregnancy or an early miscarriage. Finally, after 3 years in 171, the couple was blessed with their second child… another girl. Solarus was again, upset. He left the hospital in an angered rage, leaving Dawn to once again pick up the pieces. Dawn named the girl “Eminent Grace Skyali”, and once again went on to raise the two girls mostly alone. Solarus had grown reluctant to even look at Dawn, but divorce was not really a thing in the old fashioned ideals of the Square, and despite their clearly loveless marriage they were basically stuck together at this point. Solarus’s father passed away in 174, causing Solarus to abandon his ideas of overthrowing the Cassius family. However, in 178, Solarus finally got what he wanted… a boy.

Immediately, Solarus became father of the year, but only to his son. The boy was named Noctis Alexander Skyali, and he was Solarus’s pride and joy. As both Luna and Eminent were young, they did not fully understand why their father only paid attention to Noctis, but because Dawn was a stay at home mom, they always had eyes on them. As such, despite their father being… less than ideal, the girls never felt unloved, as their mother doted on them and showed them as much love as she possibly could.

In CRY 182, Eminent started getting very invested in the exploits of Team ACT, an up and coming rescue team in the region. They had largely gained fame as Charizard was none other than Charizard Cassius, future village elder. She became infatuated with the idea of starting her own rescue team, something her father was very against. Her father believed that girls were too frail for such work, encouraging Eminent to instead focus on cooking or agriculture, like he had forced her young teenage sister to do. Eminent fought back, trying to convince her mother to allow her to start one… however, Dawn was far too passive, refusing to talk back to her husband so Eminent was forced to relent.

However, Eminent seemed to catch her lucky break in 186. At the ripe age of 15, Eminent discovered a Pikachu passed out along the backroads, quickly scooping her up and bringing her home. Due to her father talking about “women’s work”, Eminent had begun to practice using local herbs to heal injuries and treat sickness. While by no means a doctor, Eminent had actually become somewhat known for this around the small village and even sold some potions to those in need. She treated the Pikachu, who was mostly suffering from dehydration and hunger and allowed her to rest. She came to a few days later and the two grew acquainted.

The Pikachu was named Kay, and although she was younger than Eminent, she didn’t really go into detail about her family or her home, nor how she ended up on the road. Eminent didn’t press her, but quickly grew excited when word of an abandoned home sparked around the town, dragging Kay to the property and looking it over. She informed Kay of her plan to start a rescue team, extending her offer to Kay, as she had nowhere to go. Kay seemed taken aback, but agreed. Eminent got her adult sister to purchase the home with the money Eminent had raised with her potions and the two began their careers together.

Through their rescue careers, they actually became quite well known and respected. Eminent evolved through their rescue work into an Espeon, and they met or saved many Pokemon that chose to join their team. This included Stark Flutter, a Togepi, and his half sister, Ruu Flauros, a Buneary. As well as a young Absol who lost her family named Trauma. They explored various regions through their travels and eventually ended up in a city in the Novus Region, Pokecity.

Eminent and Kay’s exploration into Pokecity took place in 186, and Eminent met a Kadabra that was slightly older than herself. His name was Lakk, and the two began a secret relationship, as Eminent was still technically a minor at this time. While Kay and Trauma returned to Pokemon Square for Christmas that year, Eminent stayed with Lakk, going to his family’s cabin in the outskirts of Farlen. The two gave each other gifts and Eminent felt herself fall deeper and deeper for Lakk, becoming smitten and staying briefly in Pokecity at this time.

In September of 187, Eminent was shocked to discover that she was pregnant. She was only 16 at the time and was unsure of how to progress, turning immediately to her boyfriend. Lakk was less than thrilled, he became nervous and explained to Eminent that they were both young, unfit to be parents. Eminent urged him to understand, stating that she could not terminate the pregnancy, as it was against her personal beliefs. Lakk explained that he was unable to be a parent at this time, and reluctantly, the two went their separate ways. Eminent returned to Pokemon Square and confided her issues in Kay, explaining about Lakk and the pregnancy. Kay was supportive, but had some choice words about Lakk. The two kept the pregnancy a secret from the rest of the team, continuing their rescue work locally. During this time, Eminent met a Jolteon named Redthir. He was kind, sweet, and took her on romantic dates. He was exactly what she needed and the two began a public relationship, much to the disdain of some locals, who believed the Jolteon was “bad news” from a bad family. Eminent assumed it had all been poor rumours, as Redthir was charming and sweet, nothing like what the townsfolk claimed. She opted to not tell him about her pregnancy, not wanting to scare him away or make him believe she intended to make him raise this child with her.

In February 188, Eminent gave birth to a baby girl in secret with the help of her mother, Luna, and Kay. Solarus and Noctis were on a hunting trip with the newly appointed elder, so the birth was able to be kept a secret. Eminent named the girl Chishio, sighing as she watched Luna wrap her up and strap her into a carseat, taking her to an orphanage in Farlen. While Eminent was recovering emotionally and physically, Kay told the team she had come down with a cold, telling Redthir the same when he came around. Unfortunately for Eminent, her secret did not stay a secret for long.

Upon feeling well enough to leave her home, Eminent was greeted at the door by Lakk. He had gotten quite an earful from Kay when he first knocked, but he insisted he needed to see Eminent. He had evolved into a handsome Alakazam, telling Eminent that he had done a lot of soul searching and was ready to be a dad. Eminent frowned, fighting tears. She explained that she had already given birth to a girl, and she was sent to an orphanage, as Eminent was not ready to be a single parent. Lakk looked hurt, simply asking if she had named the girl. Upon telling him her name, Lakk gave a solemn nod and left. Little did Eminent know, Redthir had been close by, hearing the whole exchange.

Redthir was furious that Eminent had kept this from him. But he was even more furious that she had been with another man before him, taking it upon himself to tell her brother and father. Eminent was berated by both for her stupidity and inability to “keep her legs shut”, baffled how they found out, she went to the rescue base to confront Kay and was met with a grisly sight: the base was set ablaze, with some of the water types they recruited trying to put it out. Stark was also outside, now a Togetic, he yelled to Eminent that Redthir had done this and dragged his sister and Trauma inside and Kay had gone to save them. Eminent rushed in herself, just in time to see Trauma unconscious, Kay beaten and bloody… and Ruu, laying in a pool of her own blood with her neck slit. Eminent confronted him, asking him why he had killed Ruu and why he was doing this. He explained he had heard her and Lakk and she had “betrayed her purity to him”, the two then fought physically, causing Redthir to slash at Eminent’s face and leave her with a large gash over her left eye. Seeing the flames, Elder Charizard and the rest of Team ACT rushed inside, scaring off Redthir and rescuing the three Pokemon inside.

Eminent, Kay, and Trauma were all treated for their wounds. Ruu was given a proper burial, mourned by the entire team. After this, the base was restored as a home for Kay… but the rescue team was disbanded. Elder Charizard helped Eminent get a protection order in place from Redthir, as the scar over her eye was proof enough that he was dangerous. After this, life was mostly peaceful again. Eminent explored healing more, Kay worked on manufacturing metal claws so she’d be better equipped for a fight, and Trauma… well, Trauma became nomatic and started a solo exploration team in Farlen.

During her healing practice, Eminent met a Houndoom named Samuel. He was a native of Maxmin City and had run to the secluded village to escape the mafia, as he used to be a runner for them but had made a mistake in his most recent delivery. Eminent patched him up but his wounds were severe enough that he had to stay in the clinic for a few days, leading him and Eminent to do a lot of talking. She was smitten, and so was he, and the two began a relationship. Eminent finally felt like her life was at peace, Redthir was gone, she was respected, and she was happy. But this would not stay the case.

In early 189, Eminent was walking to meet Samuel when she was stopped by Redthir. She tried to threaten the protection order but Redthir was unphased, moving closer to her. The two were in Tiny Woods, as Eminent and Samuel were going to have a picnic in the clearing after the woods but Eminent was stopped in the thickest point of the woods. Redthir attacked her, overpowered her, and took advantage of her. After he was through, he left her, beaten and sobbing. Eminent ran through the clearing and found Samuel, throwing herself into his arms. After hearing that Redthir had assaulted Eminent, Samuel got the men in town together to find Redthir… but they had no luck. It was assumed he fled the area after attacking Eminent, so all they could do is tend to her wounds… emotional and physical. However, Redthir’s torment was not over yet.

In August 189, Eminent once again discovered she was pregnant and she immediately felt sick. Her and Samuel had never been… intimate, as she was shaken by her attack. So she knew there was only one outcome for the father of this child. She told Samuel who immediately suggested termination, which Eminent refused. He insisted that Redthir was evil and the child would be the same, but Eminent again refused. She was reminded of Lakk’s reaction, feeling disdain towards Samuel bubbling in her throat. She yelled that she was having this baby and he was free to leave if he was not going to support her. To which, Samuel walked away grimly. Eminent again turned to the one person she knew she could trust, Kay. Kay was ready to murder Redthir more than she was before, but Eminent pressed that she just wanted to leave Pokemon Square and start anew. Kay thought that may also be best to protect her and the baby from Redthir, helping her leave to Pokecity once again.

Eminent arrived in September 189, shortly after her 18th birthday. She was alone, knowing no one… or so she thought. There he was, now an orphanage director: Lakk. She went to approach him but upon spotting her, he averted his eyes, focusing on the children with him. A young Flareon seemed to be by his side, Eminent overheard him call her Cheeky. Seeing so many youth without parents made Eminent look down at her stomach, praying silently that the child she birthed would not be like their father.

While in Pokecity, Eminent made many friends but one in particular was Tempo, a Furret. Tempo quickly took to Eminent, noticing her plump belly and assuming she loved food — and he loved to cook. Eminent liked the Furret, starting up a relationship with him. Once again, she avoided telling him (or anyone) about her pregnancy and simply let people assume she was a bit chubby. In early February 190, after dating Tempo for 4 months, Eminent suddenly vanished, confusing all the residents of Pokecity. Eminent, meanwhile, was on her way home to give birth in secret with Kay by her side.

On February 26th, 190. Eminent gave birth to a baby girl, a small Eevee whose face was darted with tiny freckles. She named her Grace, after her own middle name. For the next three years, Eminent raised Grace in Pokemon Square but always peppered her with stories about her father… Tempo. Kay knew she was lying, but went along with the lie, knowing the truth would hurt Grace. It was an easy lie to tell, as Tempo also had freckles so the girl did resemble him, but those amber eyes were a dead giveaway to anyone in the Square.

Shortly after Grace’s 2nd birthday, Eminent, Grace, and Kay made the trip to Pokecity. Kay had not been planning to stay, but Grace insisted that she needed her auntie Kay to meet her dad and Kay ended up meeting Tempo’s best friend Akira as well. Eminent and Tempo reconnected and while Tempo was relieved to see her, he was very confused where the child had come from. As she had been gone for a few years, it was actually quite easy to pass off Grace as Tempo’s… even if he was a little shaken she had kept the fact that she was pregnant from him. Life in Pokecity was anything but normal, and a lot of wild things happened during their time there. Grace ended up evolving into a Leafeon, a horde of demons were released, and Tempo proposed to Eminent.

While hiding in a church from the demons, Tempo and Eminent were to be wed but a Lopunny interrupted the wedding, causing their vows to never actually be finalized. Following this, the demon problem was taken care of (I’m not typing out that whole thing, go read Pokecity V3), and Eminent had a vision that something awful would befall her, Kay and Grace if they did not leave. Kay and Grace were hard to convince, as Kay had fallen for Akira and Grace did not want to lose her father again. After some convincing, the trio left back to Pokemon Square.

Upon returning, Grace celebrated her third birthday and while eating her cake, was left alone in the rescue base. Meanwhile, Kay informed Eminent that she was pregnant with Akira’s baby and that she didn’t know what to do. Eminent, having had Kay there for two pregnancies and births, assured her that she would be by her side. Eminent and Kay watched the waves by the post office for a while before Eminent went back inside to give Grace her gifts, meanwhile Stark approached Kay, having heard everything. He confessed his feelings to her, being too cowardly to say anything for years. He had admired her bravery in trying to save Ruu, offering to repay her by giving her child a father if she wished for it. Kay was overcome with emotion and agreed, causing the two to begin dating.

After this, in April, Eminent, Kay, and Grace all went shopping in the Square’s shopping district. Eminent was pulled aside by Elder Charizard and Grace walked to talk with Kay while the adults spoke. Unbeknownst to Eminent, Kay informed Grace of her true parentage during this time but asked that Grace not tell her mother. Meanwhile, Charizard urged Eminent to do just this, and force Grace in line so that the Square would not have another Redthir on their hands. When Eminent refused, Charizard threatened to harm Grace himself if she ever stepped out of line, causing Eminent to go silent.

In June 193, Kay gave birth to her daughter, Hazelyn. A shiny Pichu. Stark was overjoyed, immediately taking up a fatherly role with open arms. Grace was happy to have another child to play with, as she had only ever had her mother and Kay since leaving the kids of Pokecity. Eminent felt a twinge of jealousy seeing Stark with Hazelyn, wishing her own child had a father like that. During this year, Charizard stepped down as Elder due to his age. Having only a daughter, Alena, the role of Elder was given to his son in law… Samuel. Eminent felt disdain seeing this, feeling that Samuel should be with her, giving Grace a father.

In July 194, Eminent suddenly said she had to leave. Grace was 4 and Hazelyn was 1. Grace was baffled, not wanting to once again pick up her life and leave, and she certainly did not want to leave Hazelyn. Eminent pleaded with her to understand, finally bringing up that she was going to look for Grace’s older sister, Chishio. Remembering that Grace had met Lakk, she mentioned that Lakk may know where she was and Eminent needed to speak to him. However, Grace saw red hearing that Eminent had had a child she left, suddenly feeling a rage bubble inside her. She accused Eminent of being on the verge of abandoning her just like she had done to Chishio. Eminent continued to plead that she wasn’t going to abandon her… they were finally going to get their family back together. However, Grace needed to test her, to be sure she could trust her mother not to abandon her. She asked if Eminent would still love her if she became like Redthir. Eminent was baffled, unsure of how she even knew about Redthir. Grace took a step forward, asking once again. Eminent stammered, not knowing how to answer her. Grace leapt forward and Eminent could only see her as Redthir, swatting at Grace and clawing her face, screaming that she wished she was dead. She immediately had the fear clear, seeing it was not Redthir… but her own daughter. Panicking, she ran out of the house, causing Kay to bolt after her.

Eminent ran to the uncharted territory marred by humans that split the barrier between Farlen and Novus, running without looking back. Kay quickly bolted in front of her and blocked her path, causing the two to argue. Eminent explained she saw Redthir in Grace and panicked, Kay was sympathetic, but urged Eminent to come back and reconcile with her daughter. Eminent refused, saying she needed to go and that she feared for her own safety after hearing the tone in Grace’s voice. Suddenly, a booming voice shouted, causing both girls to turn and see a human brandishing a shiny gun at them. Eminent looked, the gun pointed directly at her. She froze, panic in her face. The human cocked the gun and Eminent closed her eyes, accepting her fate. She heard a loud “No!” ring out before the gun fired, Kay had thrown herself in front of the bullet. Eminent was shocked, Kay could only blurt out a breathy “run” before the human cocked the gun once again. Eminent ran as fast as she could, ending up back in Pokeplace, as Pokecity had migrated following the attack of the spy and Jeremy.

Being covered in the blood of her friend and having just experienced a near death experience and the death of her best friend, Eminent suffered a mental breakdown. The shock made her once violet fur turn a sleek silver, and it made Eminent lose touch with herself — forgetting her previous identity completely and calling herself “Silver Chance”. On her way to Pokeplace Town, she came across a young Eevee all alone in the cold reaches of Farlen. The girl was about 3 years old, saying that she lost her family in an accident and that her name was Spyro. “Silver”, feeling a twinge of guilt to memories of her previous self that had been suppressed, took in Spyro and continued her travels to Pokeplace Town.

Upon arriving, she was easily able to take up the mantle of Silver, as she looked nothing like Eminent due to the change in her fur. However, after talking to Lakk and Cheeky, her memories jumped back and she confessed that she was in fact Eminent. Cheeky was shocked, explaining that Eminent was her mother. Confused, Eminent looked to Lakk who explained that he never stopped looking for Chishio and had ended up adopting Cheeky out of guilt. However, during a trip to Unown Temple, it was revealed to Cheeky that Lakk and Eminent were her parents. She told Lakk upon her return from the temple, who was shocked to realize that Cheeky was just a nickname — as the orphans had made fun of her real name.

After this, Eminent finally felt fulfilled. She was back with her true love and her daughter… but Lakk seemed disinterested in pursuing a relationship with her, and Cheeky was less than thrilled to find out that “Silver” who had been around for a few months now, was her mother that she once thought was dead. Perhaps in a rash decision caused by her grief, she turned her sights to the first man she saw: Po Redwood. A married man with a daughter and son. She began an affair with Po that caused his wife to kill herself upon finding out and Po to have a massive ego complex that caused him to attack and harm his own daughter (with the help of Eminent, who had fully committed herself to Po) as well as Aura. Unbeknownst to both Po and Eminent at this time, their violent behaviour had been caused by the evil force that was brewing in the forest. Spyro was visited by her parents in the forest who congratulated her on gaining Eminent’s trust thus far as well as spurring the violent intent within her and anyone she was “intimate with” with her dark powers, but now it was time to strike. Spyro donned her new evolution, a dark type like her mother, Trauma, and Redthir slashed at her eyes, filling her with the violence he felt she needed to get the job done.

Unfortunately, slashing her eyes caused her to lose her powers, and the spell of violence was undone. Po had a moment of clarity, realizing he had just lost everything and broke up with Eminent to try and pick up the pieces of his life. Eminent mourned the loss of Po, but was quickly attacked by Spyro, who she killed in self defense. Trauma, who had been lurking to watch Spyro end Eminent’s life, wailed at the loss of her daughter. She ran forward to grab her body and her and Eminent had a fight of their own. Eminent was furious to learn that Trauma had fallen for Redthir and given him a child, but Trauma explained that it was Eminent’s fault he was the way he was and that she needed to die. Trauma hissed at Eminent, ready for a fight. Eminent however, was exhausted from fighting Spyro and couldn’t bear to harm another person she once called a friend. She turned her back to Trauma and left, not looking back.

Upon returning to the Town, she found out that Po was gone, leaving Biscuit alone without parents. However, Po’s brother had arrived to take care of him, and Eminent immediately fell for him — still reeling from the short lived romance between her and Po. At this time, a Vulpix arrived in the city with a young shiny Pikachu. She searched for Eminent, and explained that she was Kay’s older sister and had been appointed as the guardian of Hazelyn, as she had been alone with Eminent’s “evil daughter” since the death of Stark. She went on to explain that the city was planning to “take care” of Grace soon, as it was clear that she had been abusing Hazelyn. Hazelyn screamed that that wasn’t true, calling Eminent all sorts of names before running off. Lightning sighed, claiming that Hazelyn had terrible Stockholm syndrome and went to find her.

A few months passed of normal life went by, but then Hazelyn insulted her and Jake. Claiming Eminent was easy and would probably just have another kid she would abandon with Jake. Eminent told her to hush, and Jake went to hurt Hazelyn, in the hopes of defending Eminent’s honour. However, Eminent leapt in front of her at the last minute, causing Eminent to be thrown off a cliff into an ocean below instead. Unknown to both her and Jake, she was actually pregnant at this time, and the fall caused her to miscarry. She dragged herself out of the ocean and ended up breaking things off with Jake, claiming he was far too hot headed for her. She then decided to return to her hometown with Lightning and Hazelyn.

On the way, Eminent was stopped by Tempo, who ran out of a large burrow in the ground. He hugged her and claimed he thought he would never see her again, ready to start their life together. While they were talking and Lightning watched with bewilderment, Hazelyn took it as her chance to run back to Kay’s former home, where her and Grace were living. Upon noticing Hazelyn was gone, Lightning went to look for her and was never seen again. Eminent meanwhile, went inside the burrow with Tempo, noticing that he had been living with a harem of Lopunny. They glared at Eminent as she walked by, but did not move. Eminent took to life here, resuming her relationship with Tempo like nothing had happened. Eminent told Tempo that Grace had unfortunately died, and Tempo insisted that they could start anew… from the beginning.

The duo did just that, with Eminent giving birth to a son in November of 196. She named him Hyoshi, and he took more after his father, being a Sentret. Akira, Tempo’s brother and best friend, as well as the father of Hazelyn, lived alongside them as well. The Lopunny turned to him, as Tempo was remaining loyal to Eminent. However, Eminent… also turned to him, beginning an affair with Akira when Tempo and Hyoshi were doing father and son activities.

For the next six years, they lived as a happy family. Unfortunately, Tempo had started to succumb to a disease that Eminent had caught far too late to heal. He passed from his disease and the Lopunny turned their attention to Hyoshi, performing a ritual to evolve him into a Furret just like his father. The Lopunny then turned their attention to Eminent, viewing her as competition and chasing her out. Upon trying to return to the burrow to rescue her son, finally setting things right as a mother, she was kidnapped by Trevista and Jeremy. She was held captive before being rescued by Cheeky and the rest of her old Pokeplace companions.

From here, as Lakk had passed away during a battle, Eminent took up the mantle of trying to raise Cheeky and atone for the abandonment of Grace and Hyoshi. Life was mostly peaceful in Pokeplace Town, and Eminent felt like life was finally going her way. However, a blessing befell Pokeplace and Lakk was able to return for one more day. Eminent and him spent the day together, including returning to the cabin that they once shared. After their meeting, Lakk returned to the afterlife and Eminent returned to her life. However, tragedy was coming.

A mass flood struck Pokeplace, causing the citizens to flee to the hospital. From here, they all hid from the water and waited for rescue. Eminent confided in Cheeky that after the night with Lakk a few months ago, she was pregnant. However, their happy family could never be. Cookie, Po’s daughter, who was possessed by an evil spirit, went to attack a sleeping Cheeky. Eminent, jumping into action, leapt in front of her daughter and was stabbed multiple times by the possessed Cookie. Eminent was rushed into a room by the hospital staff to be treated for her wounds, but the shock had sent her into an early labour. She gave birth to her son, who she named Aisu. The birth had used all of her energy, and she ended up joining Lakk and Kay in the afterlife. Dead at 31, leaving her children behind.

04 — Trivia

  • Eminent and Kay are based off of my first PMD Blue Team (not my first PMD team though, as I played Red first). Eminent had a name change, as her name in the file was "Light" so I looked up synonyms for it when I made the character for Serebii. This means her actual creation date is sometime in December 2007, but herself as she is is from 2009.

  • Eminent was never meant to be so "good" with men. It happened accidentally due to stupid planning and silly romances when we were younger (mainly the Jake/Po romance).

  • Eminent has technically died a lot. She was presumed dead after Pokecity V3 where she and Grace (and Kay) were killed without my permission. This death was retconned by me, and has since been that the deaths were made up by the spy to strike fear into the citizens. Eminent, Grace, and Kay had actually escaped weeks earlier due to a vision. The second time she died was during a spell where I was not present online, and she was assumed dead for a while before being found. She had also died once during a fight with Redthir, causing a brief period where she had wings... for some reason? She was half-angel (11 year old moment).

  • While she is a doctor, it's unclear where in the timeline she got her education. It's assumed that she just picked up healing skill during her time as a rescue team and used it to excel in medicine without real training.

  • Eminent's voice claim is the singer of Within Temptation and has been since I was 12.

  • If the unborn child would have been born, it would have been a boy. He likely would have been named after another distant Redwood family member.

  • Eminent's two children with Lakk evolved to match her parents (but with opposite genders) as Eminent's mother was a Glaceon (like Aisu) and her father was a Flareon (like Cheeky).

  • Despite her own dislike of her scar, Eminent was considered extremely beautiful, especially in the later years of her life. She was also the beauty of her home town. Her daughters both share this beauty, while Hyoshi and Aisu take more after their fathers.

Her mother, somewhat overprotective when Eminent was young but the two gradually drifted apart after Noctis was born and the old ideals present in Pokemon Square took over.

02.

Her father, gruff and old fashioned. Wanted a son over his daughters and gradually distanced himself as they grew independent. Him and Luna especially do not get along.

03.
luna skyali
sister

Eminent's older sister by three years, Luna is a shiny Umbreon who became known for her spunk and free spirit. Especially after she became an explorer and courier for the Maxmin Mafia. Presently, she resides in Maxmin, now quite old and retired --- but still protected by the mafia.

04.
noctis skyali
younger brother

Eminent's younger brother by seven years. The age gap was high enough that they were never close, especially with Eminent moving out of home to found her own rescue team. Noctis resents his sister, as after she acquired money and fame, their parents seemed to ignore all the odd things she did (like the giving up of her first child or the abandonment of Grace).

05.
lakk moonstar
partner #1

Eminent's one true love/the one that got away. Lakk and Eminent fell in love training, having their cabin be their home away from home. But after the fallout over Chishio, Lakk became an orphan director to try and find his long lost daughter, leaving Eminent behind.

06.
redthir schuld
partner #2

Dated shortly after the fallout with Lakk. He was a badboy, and everything Eminent wanted. His crazed behaviour lead to them breaking up a few months later. This caused Redthir to grow angry, killing Ruu, a member of their Rescue Team. He later returned when Eminent was dating Samuel and attacked her, causing her to become pregnant with Grace. He proceeded to stalk and try to harm Eminent, obsessed with her.

07.
samuel cassius
partner #3

Samuel was a poor boy from the Square. His parents worked tirelessly at the post office, which is where Eminent met him. Being a Houndoom, he was seen as bad news, much like Trauma, a member of her Rescue Team. However, Samuel had a kind heart and Eminent finally had someone good in her life after everything went down with Redthir. But following the assault, Samuel urged her to terminate the pregnancy and she promptly dumped him.

08.
tempo blade
partner #4

Tempo and Eminent met in Pokecity, and while it is unknown if she dated him just to spite Lakk. It seemed like she really did love him in the end. She was very early in her pregnancy with Grace when they met, and she was able to hide it quite well. She took a holiday to Pokemon Square to see her friend Kay and returned with Grace, posing her as Tempo's daughter. He seemed shocked, but accepted that she was his (as the timeline did technically match up). Tempo and Eminent were almost married during a demon attack (as Tempo proposed believing they would die) but an attack on the church lead it to be unfinalized

09.
po redwood
partner #5

Eminent... is unsavoury in the eyes of many for some behaviours. Her relationship with Po is certainly one of them. She seduced him in a fit of passion, caused him to cheat on his wife which ultimately lead to her attempted suicide, and then helped Po wound his young daughter who was angry because her mom was hospitalized. A very poor relationship that did not last long, but had lasting impacts.

10.
jake redwood
partner #6

After Po decided to return to his wife, Eminent decided to get the next best thing: his twin brother. Jake and Eminent actually had a relatively good relationship that was very physically fulfilling for both of them. However, Eminent did fall pregnant during this relationship but lost the baby due to physical trauma (notably being tackled off a cliff by Jake himself).

Eminent's first born child, born the year Eminent was turning 17 after her and Lakk the Alakazam began a deep rooted love affair. Lakk is considered Eminent's true love, but due to their young age, Eminent opted to give the child up for adoption for a better life, much to Lakk's dismay. Due to this, the couple broke up and Lakk became an orphanage director to find their lost daughter.

12.
grace redfyre
daughter

Eminent's second born, born after an assault from Redthir when Eminent was only 18 years old. Wanting to atone for her past mistakes, she refused to terminate the pregnancy/give up the baby, even if Redthir was deeply evil and epople feared for the child. Eminent ended up abandoning Grace after she confronted her about Eminent's first born child, causing Eminent and her to quarrel (when Grace was very young) and resulted in Eminent seeing a little too much of Redthir in her and getting frightened.

13.
unnamed redwood
unborn son

Eminent's unborn son. She was around 2 months pregnant with the child of Jake Redwood when she suffered a traumatic incident that caused her to miscarry. They would be 4 years younger than Grace had they been born. His name likely would have been Toffee, similar to Jake and Po's father.

14.

Firstborn son, third child, Hyoshi was born after Eminent reconnected with Tempo and lived with him for a few years following her return to Pokemon Square with Lightning. Eminent ended up being chased out of the Lopunny village following Tempo's death when the feral sex-crazed bunnies decided Hyoshi would be their next victim.

Eminent's youngest, born the day she passed away after Lakk, her true love, was able to return to Earth for one more day. Aisu grew up without both of his biological parents, but had a found family of his own.

kay faron
rescue partner/best friend

Eminent's rescue team partner and best friend since childhood, Kay was there for her through thick and thin. Even dying for Eminent so that she would have another chance at seeing her daughter. Kay was a martyr, and has been recognized for her bravery in Pokemon Square --- having a shadow next to Eminent's Grandmother's statue.
