Livien's Links
My adopted daughter. ...Oh, how many headaches you've given me. And how many jokes about greying have been made at my expense and yours. And yet it was worth putting aside my biases.
The man that actually raised her.
And how could I ever forgive you? You who never learned that your love will not negate others' hardships? And that my love for them never meant forgiveness for you.
And while I could never hate you either, by the love of Grashia get out of my sight.
Adopted father. The man that raised him and his sister. The man who taught them morals, kindness, forgiveness and intelligence in war. The man who looked at the children of his captor and didn't smother them in their cribs. And now she's too far away, on the mainland and taking her problems to a Pakkeli doctor who doesn't give her the same patience. Still, free.
"I love Livien! He's like a father or big brother to me! Whenever I started to learn magic and after I was separated from my parents he was there to take me under his wing. I hope someday we'll meet again. I do miss him.
