Mango Iksalvsinat (🦩 Creature-Crossing)

Mango might be a bit clumsy, misguided, and scatterbrained, but her heart is always in the right place, and when it comes to planning successful social events she's laser-focused. Mango wants only one thing more than hosting fun parties on a regular basis- Friends to attend her fun parties on a regular basis! She isn't afraid to introduce herself to new people, though her social awkwardness has a tendency to shoot her in the foot. She isn't the best with names, only rarely picks up on sarcasm, and your jokes are more likely to fly over her head than they are to land.

When Mango isn't planning parties, she's designing websites. When she isn't designing websites, she's out for a jog, or tending to her garden, or cooking new meals. Does she ever take a break? Sure! She has every minute of her meditating time scheduled a month in advance. The only thing that could ever mess with her perfect schedules is an unexpected date or request to hang out... Seems like a fair trade.

Though she lives in Lilypad, Mango commutes to Pebble Town several times a week to report for work at the ice cream shop. Her current home has a beautiful view of the ocean and she isn't willing to give that up. Currently, she's taking online university courses as she pursues a major in graphic design. Designing websites is her passion and she offers her assistance to small businesses who'd like to put themselves on the online map. She keeps in contact with her parents by writing them letters often, and has many stories to share about the visitors to her family's candle shop. I mean fish farm. Darnit, I've said too much.

★ Mango has a friendly, if somewhat reserved demeanor. She enjoys being social and dreams about having many friends, but doesn't like talking about herself if she can help it.

★ Clumsier than she's willing to admit to herself. Refuses to stop carrying large amounts of breakable objects and jugs of liquid that are likely to stain things.

★ Totally knows things about fish.

★ Very much into the hipster aesthetic for real. A big fan of lattes, pumpkins, and anything related to the traditional autumn aesthetic.

★ Can absolutely spell her surname (Iksalvsinat) and certainly doesn't have "Cool surname" as a priority quality she's looking for in a significant other.

★ One of her favorite pastimes is canning fruit she's grown herself. She loves her garden and all the insects therein.

★ Dreams of learning to sew and would melt if someone took the time to teach her.

★ Tends to be overconfident, bite off more than she can chew, and spread herself too thin. NEEDS TO TAKE SOME GOSHDARN BREAKS.

★ Unlike real flamingos, her colors don't wash out if she doesn't maintain a healthy diet... Her trash cans often contain empty color dye tubes, but that's probably unrelated.

★ Has a high-salt diet, drinks saltwater, and has the ability to drink from geysers at near-boiling temperatures (Don't worry it's fine).

★ Her favorite color is brown and her favorite food is shrimp scampi.

★ If she were a Pokémon, she would be a Baile style Oricorio. Her nature would be Bold and her IV would be Likes to Run.

★ Prefers wearing suits to dresses.

★ If you ask her questions about her past, please be patient with her. It takes time to collect her thoughts.

★ Her home is full of notebooks of her drawings and writing... Though she never lets anyone see them, and she doesn't take requests or commissions. I guess she's sensitive about her characters and art style...

★ Don't be fooled by the lack of visible feathers on her wings... She can indeed fly (and if anyone told you otherwise, it's not true).

★ A highly organized gal who is single, ready to mingle, and wants nothing more than to be put in charge of party planning and then help you set up a blog you can record the experience on.
