Strike is apart of the THEIR DARK EDEN universe. 

This is a world where humans created biological weapons during war that destroyed the earth and mutated into "the infection." The humans were killed off and the creatures that survived built a refuge/safe place underground called "Eden" to avoid the contaminated air. Those that ventured outside had to wear gas masks and if you were infected, you were kicked out into the Wastelands. The infection itself slowly progresses worse and worse until its victim goes insane and almost all the dogs in the Wasteland (due to lack of resources) became cannibalistic. Once the infection reaches too far, the victim dies and there is no cure.

Strike was born in the Wastelands as an infected carrier: though he had no symptoms of the disease and appears normal, he could still spread it like any other infected creature through bite, blood contact, etc. and thus can never enter Eden. It is his dream to eventually be accepted in, however impossible that dream is.

Because his condition is so rare, he has been tricked by Edeners in the past and used for experimentation in labs outside the gates of Eden. He is thus very wary of them, even with how badly he wishes to trust and join them. He also seems to have no luck with the infected, as almost all have lost their minds and are highly cannibalistic. There are, however, a select few infected (that are in beginning stages and have not yet lost their sanity) who he is very close to and would guard with his life.

Strike is very weak physically and relies almost solely on his intelligence and agility. Though he was born with a deformed back leg as a result of the Wastelands' radiation, he uses it to his advantage when fleeing by holding it close to his body almost like a rudder.
