No one is quite sure what Hades is. Hellhound, demon, nightmare, you name it he's probably been called it. He prefers "god of the underworld" when he gets asked. He is the reason for nightmares, especially for young kids. He tends to appear as a gentle and happy naturally colored borzoi in the beginning making it seem happy but then he changes to his real colors and shows his true nature. Seeing him outsider of dream is said to be an omen of death. Those who have never seem to live long after.

Hades is believed to be the reason behind Paxton losing his angelic abilities and has since become his mortal enemy.
