-The moss is on his BACK.

- 000-iii Ikkit - Soot adores Ikkit and follows him often, he watches to learn ways to prank and cause trouble, and tries often to prank Ikkit himself too.

- 2714 Root - Soot loves his brother, and fully ignores all Root's attempts to get him to behave.

- 2717 Soon - Soot loves it when Soon tags along to cause trouble.
- 3375 Boon - Soot is the most irritating for Boon, and Boon is often the target of Soot's pranks.
Before becoming an esk, Soot was his nature-feature, located within the cave.
Soot is part of the "Cave Crew", a funny little group of nocturnal esks that all live in and around the same cave system in a forested mountain area. They also share the space with Boon, a grumpy frog-shaped esk who acts like he doesn't like them, but in reality, loves their company.
Ornery. Mischievous. Highly eccentric. These are all words that could easily describe this esk. He is intensely silly. He is very friendly to esks and animals, as long as they do not damage his cave home's ecosystem. Humans on the other hand, he sees as clumsy and inconsiderate usually, and will try to use traps or tricks to scare them away from his caves.
He torments his brother Root, and Boon all the time. XD
