Vinewind is a selfish and bossy she-cat, it's all for the sake of her only child Briarfall. She mainly keeps to herself, and she only talks to other cats if it's about her daughter.

The warrior gets anxious easily at the thought of losing Briarfall, so she's set up some rules to ensure her daughter's safety. The young she-cat is allowed to hunt and practice basic fighting moves for the survival instinct, but Vinewind refused to let her mentor train her for anything more dangerous. She also wants Briarfall to act as a true she-cat and not give her heart to anyone.

Her mate, Falcontail, died during the prey poisoning over ten moons ago when Briarfall was a newborn.

Since then, Vinewind has been a foster queen for kits who don't have mothers and eats borage leaves to continue producing milk. She took care of Shadowpaw and Aspenpaw.
