Arlus gets what she wants and she knows what she wants. You cross her? You got a death wish, my friend. She is a hard, no-nonsense, silent-angry wall of muscle armed with numerous weapons and Kevson-sanctioned authority as the sole policeman. She mostly uses it to give Bladez unfair advantages. She only really jokes around with him and Ea, and her humor is dark and monotone.
Arlus was born aboard the Mafia, raised among criminals. As such, she was never one for playing by the rules. She got tired of being pushed around by the others, though, so she left as soon as she felt she was adult enough (so about 15.) She kept doing crime for a solid couple years. Sooner or later she figured out Sciyr had easily-accessible rich people, and she began targeting them. This got her caught by guards working for a boy named Bladez.
Instead of having her jailed or worse, he said he’d be willing to let it go if she’d stay and help him in his aspirations to take over the world. She was taken off-guard by how easily he offered. When she asked whether it was lawful for him to be taking her in, Bladez replied “of course it isn’t! But see, what I’m thinkin is they don’t gotta know about it. You stay with me, and help me out, and it works out for everyone.” Now if Arlus had been planning to simply steal from him and ditch anyway, this got her to reconsider. It wasn't that she admired the attitude, but she was curious. There was something different about this brat. She stuck around to see how his world take-over panned out. She’s remained loyal ever since.
She'd never felt particularly bothered by misfortune or cruelty towards herself, but all of the sudden she found herself becoming very easily pissed off when any such things happened to Bladez. Even though she hates children, even when they first met and he was a little brat, she found herself alarmingly invested in his safety. There have been a handful of events where she has been truly terrified for him, most notably the assassination incident. This has caused her to be come even more protective and perhaps a little over-bearing towards him.

Charge
Arlus is Bladez's bodyguard. Has been for 18 years. She is loathe to admit she has some affection for the idiot. Very protective of him.
Hm... Like Family.
Ea is clever. If hard to follow, sometimes. He is far too emotional for Arlus' comfort. Still, she has known him a long time. Even she must admit she has grown fond.
Ally
Wouldn't've looked twice at a chick like this. But she's gotten to know her some. Interesting fellow. Arlus doesn't hate her. She's helped Bladez and Ea so Arlus will tolerate her.
Ally
Arlus does not like many people. Isoptera has earned her respect. She knows she can trust him to protect the others.
- Perpetually frowning. She is a severe woman.
- Hardly goes without wearing armor. Feels exposed without it. However, she keeps her armor light for mobility.
- She is thin and tall, but very well-toned. Even when she isn't flexing her muscles, they're still visible. This is due to malnutrition and poor diet habits.
- Has a Mafia emblem tattooed on her left shoulder blade.
