  • Golden, glowing eyes.
  • Appears in three different stages:
    > True Form appears large and statuesque. He's a few stories tall that looms over cities.
    > Second form is a few feet taller than the normal human. He covered in robes and feathers.
    > Human form he stands at 6'8". For the sake of descending onto mortal realms, he often appears in this way.
  • In his human form, he has different musical symbols all throughout his body. They resemble scars in a way.
Personality

As the creator of Harmony, Charlemagne is a regal and arrogant god, with good reason as he is supposedly the strong being in the land, and possibly one of the, if not the strongest being in the universe. His arrogance is matched with his tendency to manipulate mortals and other gods alike, even his own children, to his ends; with his arrogance, he is also extremely intelligent, capable of hiding his own goals until he thinks it's necessary to reveal them. However, his true personality far differs from what is seen on the surface: he is incredibly tolerant towards other beings, be it other gods, or humans, and genuinely cares for other beings as well, even going as far as using his own power to save mortal realms. This true personality of Charlemagne came out of concern after seeing his son escape his fated prison for his own well being.

Even though he is tolerant, he still cares very little about human problems. Whether it be politics, death, or anything of mortal values - he simply leaves it be or just allows it to be untouched. He will flirt or sleep with anyone at his own leisure and then he will simply walk away to find something else to amuse him. Unless it disrupts the balance of the worlds or Aether pleads for his help, he won’t intercept and help fix any problems created by humans.

Trivia

  •  Ability: (Music) Charlemagne is known as the God of Music and Harmony, where his power supposedly gives anything the power of music. Whether it be an instrument or a person, Charlemagne has the power to bestow them a legendary skill. And sometimes Charlemagne has already blessed any person as a music prodigal before they're even born.
    > Charlemagne can play a song with his own will, in thin air. Sometimes he'll play music within the ears of a single person, and possibly cause them to turn insane from in.
  • Ability: (Spellsinging) Charlemagne is the God that created the power of Spellsinging. A single voice possibly awakens Charlemagne's powers but only for a moment and the power is short ended.
    > He can spellsing as well, and it's rather powerful enough that his voice can be heard throughout several universes.
  • Ability: (Sound) His powers varies, knowing him being a god gives him a variety of different things to do. His powers most likely relates to physical sounds.
    > Can control the volume of any noise he chooses. This includes blocking any noise someone or something makes (mute).
    > Can choose who will and will not hear certain noises.
    > Typically likes to mess with people by playing certain melodies in their heads.
  • Very affectionate towards his son.
    > Aether wants to stay away from his father as soon as they see each other.
    > Won't hesitate to destroy the whole world if anything happens to him.
    > A good good god dad.
  • Okay with nonbelievers. And is annoyed with any extremists who constantly asks for his blessings.
  • Literally cannot remember who Vadim is.
    > Vadim is really sad about it.
    > Also gets angry about it.
    > Charlemagne eventually remembers him and now he's treating him like a baby.
History | The Story

History

There is no recollection of memories about his existence before he awakened as a god. However, supposedly he was a wandering soul of several musicians before Gods of a higher realm had transformed his entity into something much powerful.

There was a period where he spent centuries wandering around the universe and gazing upon mortal humans, and used his magic to allow them to prosper and grow according to his will. In fact, he had enjoyed protecting those that he finds proper and peace among them.  He was the king of a little bestowed kingdom, that he found fit for his tastes. Yet he didn't bother handling diplomatic affairs as he could really just solve anything with just the snap of his fingers and the music he created.

He fell in love with a young mortal woman, whose voice could only match with a goddess. He never expected this realm to create such a perfect woman, and took her away from their kingdom and into his home of gods.
But she was a human woman, who could not keep up with powerful forms. She grew weak after she spent years in the realm of gods, but she gave birth to their only child. Not long after she had "died" in Charlemagne's arms.

Before her body would shrivel and eventually turn to dust, the God had sealed and preserved her into a powerful crystal. The power of her and the crystal was kept in her home, the kingdom that Charlemagne ruled for centuries, within the depths below of their castle. Such powers had eventually spread throughout its inhabitants and bestowed them magical powers straight from the source of the crystal. Such powers and their kingdoms eventually grew into one of the most powerful kingdoms, where they have named Cathal.

Because of her death, Charlemagne has rarely descended and spent focusing on other affairs in the immortal realm - including caring for his half-human child. Even a god had the utmost affection towards his only child. Yet certain events that led to the harm of Aether, he had locked Aether and sheltered him away from anyone except for one of his closer subordinates. His son was eventually tired of being imprisoned by his father and escaped - descending down to the mortal realm where his mother's home resides.

The Story Now

There’s a long line of History in regards to Charlemagne, but he is one of few gods that have created worlds and abstain from chaos of demons that disrupts its balance. And Charlemagne is rather a free-flowing god, who rarely listens or obeys any advice from his underlings.

Charlemagne, occupied with more important matters, never planned to descend onto the mortal world. But after his son fled their home when he felt imprisoned in his little shelter, Charlemagne’s had no choice but to leave and follow suit. He left the celestial realm to mortal lands, using the excuse of his escaped child, but in reality he wanted to visit his creations out of curiosity.
And there he steps onto a familiar world where Aether resides in. There leaves a sense of melancholy in his mind, realizing that he’s left so much in this ever growing city of Cathal.

He meets a young King and bestows him a brilliant blade that helped him rule his land straight into a Golden Era. He leaves an empty promise that he'd come back soon enough after his success. Unfortunately Charlemagne forgot such promises, leaving the now older King Vadim sour and upset. The God only had cared for his son, but fell into Vadim's pitiful looks and helped him get back onto his feet.

Aether | Son

Charlemagne loves Aether as his son deeply. In fact, Charlemagne being an affectionate father makes people realize that Aether is his one and only weakness in the mortal realm. Charlemagne pursues him endlessly until he finally decides to go home. And Aether... as calm, gentle, and polite as he could be - is plainly stubborn with his father around. He is rather annoyed with his obsessiveness.

Vadim | Partner

Vadim is one of the kings of the Cathal, the city that Charlemagne created with his own hands. When the God descended, Vadim is rather persistent in getting his attention. Charlemagne only assumed that Vadim was a strict believer of gods, which is something he disapproves in minor cases. However, he doesn't realize that Vadim holds an attachment towards Charlemagne since his young adult years.

The Conqueror | ???

Apparently Cathal was not the only Kingdom that he had created. Charlemagne's powerful seemingly extended onto an ancient Kingdom known as Athan. But the crystal that powered its city had eventually shattered into mere pieces, causing its inhabitants to turn into stone. Now Cervantes seeks for an answer to awaken his Kingdom once again, not realizing that Charlemagne possibly had the answers he was seeking for centuries.
