The mysterious Goat Man is a vicious, cruel, and evil demon who kills everyone who crosses his path. 

He hunts the forest for trespassers every day, cursed to wander the woods, forever...

In reality, "Goat Man" has nothing at all to do with a goat or a man. He is, in reality, a feral Tiefling plagued with out-of-control rumors. The false accusations and over-exaggerated stories have indeed made him appear much more horrible than he actually is. Rain lives by himself in the woods with his familiar- a Giant Owl runt by the name of Tyr. Together, they wander the forest assisting the Fey that live there with small tasks here and there. He's a very reserved, quiet soul who really doesn't enjoy scaring others. He's a bit of a pacifist, preferring not to resort to violence unless absolutely necessary. However, this does not mean he is unable or unwilling to fight. Being so in tune with the magic of the Fey and studying nature over the years, Rain does have quite a few tricks under his belt.

Rain is the son of a witch and a bard. His mother, the witch, was a peaceful lady who practiced medicine and studied the natural world. His father, the bard, was a wandering entertainer who found himself lovestruck upon seeing his the elegant Firbolg lady. He ended up wooing her with his charm and settling down in the forest where Rain presides. His memories of them are hazy, and he doesn't remember where they've gone to, but he isn't too concerned with their whereabouts.
