INFORMATION

If witches are the cause of bad emotion, faeries are the cause of good. Typically, they feel very, very little negative emotion, which make them absolutely wretched hosts for funerals. Most faeries are the original faeries, the ones that had always been there since the beginning of time. They do not age, and they are extremely secretive about their history and origins. Some say that faeries were created, in a lab along with the witches. It's an interesting theory.

Faeries reproduce through two ways. One way, which is way less common, is a human becoming a faerie. Because humans are rarely such delightful and wonderful pure-hearted beings, with not one skeleton in their closet, it's very rare for a human to become a faerie.

Curiously enough, faeries across the world in several different locations will vary in size, color, and appearance.

Typically, faeries are the only creatures known to have mutations in hair color, and sometimes will have unnatural hair colors. They have small frames, and are very petite and tiny. Usually, they're the size of a songbird. They have bones like them too. Their abilities stem from nature, and are usually extremely passive. Like those who say that they had originated through labs, others will argue that they are somehow are linked through flowers, like a strange Thumbelina.

If witches use black magic, faeries use white. That means that typically, they don't exploit other people's emotions of happiness to become more powerful. Instead, they will use knacks and tacks and make things up for it using that. It's much easier to learn faerie magic without being a faerie than it is to use witch magic without becoming a witch. Using faerie magic is atypically looked down upon in human society, and witch magic even more so. If someone is suspected of using witch or faerie magic, they're seen as a potential candidate for becoming a witch. Of course, in terms of faerie magic, this is absolutely bogus.
