vanabe didn't intend on becoming the Necromancer at first. When she first met Doc Alice, she was interested in ridding the West of the undead armies. However, as she uncovered more books on the Nex-Mex, she grew interested in the magic and continued to study it, even when it took a toll on her body.
When she finally confronted the Necromancer and found that he was a shriveled skeleton, she destroyed him and decided the West would be better off if the skeletons were managed by her so that nobody could ever abuse the power again. Of course, seeing her current state, this did not end well.

❧ Design
Ivanabe Feared is a stark contrast against everything you imagine yourself to be. She is... unhinged, for a lack of a better word. Her skin is ashy, her hair is scraggly, her limbs are gangly, and her eyes are dark with corrupted power.
It's like looking at a corpse of yourself. She's a reminder of what you could've become had you continued to read those books.

- Her earlier concepts did not include the effects of the Nex-Mex. Now, she has been designed to look like a living corpse.
- In this iteration, she was not adopted by the same family as Ivy G.
- Her pardner was Doc Alice. Was.
- She still believes that she is in the right for controlling the skeletons and silencing those who oppose her judgement.
- She ultimately dies by Ivy G's hand.

"Hmm, back again? You're annoying me with this talk of Beanslingin' honor. Those with power are the only ones survivin' the West!"
After being pushed out his home by necromancing activiy, Noah seeked out signs of the Necromancer for revenge. When he found Doc Alice right after she left Ivanabe, he joined forces with her to take Ivanabe down. He was the one who led the WoL gang against her, but died fighting her in the end.

"Ha! Ya think yer measly fists can reach me? Don't make me laugh. Ya Cowpunchers never think past what's directly in front of yer faces!"
Rudy wasn't supposed to be involved in this whole ordeal, but his path has inevitably crossed that of the Necromancer's. Even though the Hellcows had been taken care of, there was now a new threat looming over the West, and Rudy joined Noah to take her down.

"Don't think ya got the moral high-ground over me. Ya submitted to the power of the cows to banish that stack of hellbeef!"
Cory joined the opposition against Ivanabe after meeting Rudy. She wasn't meant to be involved, either, but there just seemed to be danger all over the West. She unfortunately perished when fighting Ivanabe.

"I thought that outta everyone, ya would've been the one to understand, Alice. It's a darn shame we can't see eye-to-eye."
After Ivanabe claimed the Necromancer's throne, she left Ivanabe's side, betrayed. She met Noah along the way and joined him to fight against her, but she unfortunately died during their first confrontation. Noah is still bitter over her loss.

There you are, face to face with the Necromancer herself. Strangely, she looks delighted to see you. You believe you can talk her down. Surely, there is some humanity left in there. She is a version of you, after all... right?
