Noah Hoemo
About
As a child, Noah had always been fascinated with the arcane and anything magic-related, but his family shot him down for his unrealistic dreams. Still, he studied magic secretly, honing his skills to become a Beanslinger when he grows up. When the skeletons invaded his home in Britain, Noah was forced to flee to the West and discovered that there was a place for magic in this strange new world!
However, even with Noah's magic, he was not prepared for the dangers out West. When first arriving at Borin' Springs, he was ambushed by a bunch of skeletons and sought refuge in Doc Alice's house. At first, Doc Alice tried to shoo Noah away, but she softened up to him when he revealed he was trying to become stronger to defeat the skeletons back home, which Alice sympathized with. Still, it took Noah a bit of persuasion to convince Alice to join him once he heads out farther West due to her special knowledge about a mysterious necromancer hiding within the desert sands.
While out exploring, he also meets Rudy and decides he wants to become friends, thus leading to the two forming a group. One day, the two also meet Ivy, which Noah instantly develops a crush on after she fixes an elevator with ease. And thus, the trio is formed -- Noah learns to be more confident in himself with the help of his friends and grows in his magical abilities as a result. He and Alice manage to find the necromancer and crush him to dust, effectively cutting off the magic constantly reanimating the dead. Even though his home is safe to return to, Noah decides that he would rather stay with his new friends in the West.
"I'll use this magic to kick your arse! At least I hope it works!"

Combat
Noah always uses his magical powers to gain advantage in battle, offering both attack and support. He is assisted by his trusty pardner, Doc Alice, who heals his more squishy build.

Personality
HIGH-STRUNG | SMART | LOYAL
Noah handles anything requiring smarts in the group, whether it be basic math or outsmarting opponents with academic mumbo jumbo. He provides logical assumptions and insight for encounters and is helpful even though he lacks the experience. Noah's chattering is especially entertaining during long rides in the desert; both his team members find his rambles interesting and a great way to break silence.
However, his upbringing and secret life has built him to be quite timid of his abilities, even despite his strength. Noah is quick to back down when he believes a challenge is out of his league, hardly giving himself a chance before shutting himself out. This mentality eventually changes a little after spending more time with his friends.

These two met during a freak snake attack, where Rudy saved Noah before they were both bitten. Rudy never expected to enjoy Noah's company, but the magician grew on him over time. With Noah's considerable self-esteem issues, Rudy finds himself offering advice to help Noah a little in his own way. Noah notices and appreciates this effort by staying loyal to Rudy's wishes and goals, being the first to support him whenever he has a suggestion Noah also often asks Rudy for advice on how to approach Ivy.
What started out as getting an elevator to work turned into a raging crush! Ever since Noah met Ivy at the cave, he had been dumbfounded by her cleverness and charming personality. Ivy has made it her personal mission to motivate Noah and boost his self-esteem just a little! It's a shame he can't work up the courage to confess his crush to her...

Noah is well acquainted with Alice's tough love and listens to her orders when she's serious, especially after learning that Alice used to be an army doctor.
