About
Ivanabe, also known as Ivy, lived her childhood on a farm with her adopted family. Her birth parents were adventurers and one day left on a mission to a place called the Kingdom of Loathing, where they were never seen again in the West afterwards. Ivy spent most of her childhood and early teenage years in an orphanage, where she became the role model for many of the younger children. Eventually, she was adopted when she was sixteen due to her adoptive younger brother, Rufus, really wishing for an older sibling for his birthday.
Until adulthood, she lived with her adoptive mother, father, and brother, working on the farm with her family and entertaining the folks around town. Though she was incredibly happy to be in her old home, she couldn't help but to feel there was something more out there waiting for her. As if on cue, one day, she had a strange dream where a voice told her to head out into the West and help out the people there. So from there on, she left her home on the farm and embarked her important job, promising to visit her family every month or two and mail them every day.
In the West, she makes it her mission to help anyone and everyone. Need a quest done? Just call her up! Home infested with snakes? No problem! Ivy is a glutton for quests and tasks, seeking out any individuals who may need some asistance. As long as they let her talk things out, she's right on the job. On Ivy’s adventures, she meets new friends, takes down old and new enemies, and learns much more about the world around her.

Ivy prefers to talk rather than fight, but when initiated, she utilizes strategies and tricks to win a battle. She also has an array of oils and potions to enhance her abilities. She relies on her gun, her grit, and her pardner Gary.

Ivy is the group cheerleader amongst her friends' anxiety and gruffness, keeping an ever-persistant smile on her face to lift everyone's spirits. She's quick to think and speak, often acting as the advisor or one to get the group out of trouble, or in some cases, into trouble.
However, despite her clever battle strategizing and ultruism, these traits can often be muddled by her impulsiveness to make decisions she deems as "good" for others. She is always quick to help, sure, but sometimes that speed puts people off or even damages their situation if Ivy doesn't understand the context.

- Ivy's white hair was added to her design when I realized the white hair was permanent upon practicing Necromancin'.
- She sometimes ties her shirt into a croptop because she claims it "helps catch the wind easier."
- Aside from the new-fangled gun, she also picked up a cell phone from the modern dimension.
- She is a skilled guitar and piano player.
- If her adventure was slightly altered at the start, she would have gone down a path of darkness.

Since their first meeting at a cave, they had been good friends. Ivy has made it her personal mission to motivate Noah and boost his self-esteem just a little! She's always patient when he expresses that he's not quite used to the West and helps him learn all the customs and creatures to watch out for. Don’t tell Ivy this, but Noah has a crush on her!
Rudy and Ivy met at the same cave, since he and Noah were traveling partners. To Ivy, Rudy was just a grumpy man who needs some cheering up! She constantly tries (sometimes successfully) to make him smile or laugh. Eventually, Rudy warms up to her, and she's unsurprisingly the one he trusts most to take care of his kids later on.
Despite having their first meeting inside a basement, Ivy and Gary quickly grew to be friends. Gary helps Ivy improve at her Goblintongue so that she can better communicate with other Goblins in the West. Ivy loves Gary’s wacky personality and the excitement he adds to any encounters.
Whaaat? These two are family? Originally meeting through Kiwi, the two became fast rivals based on their different mindsets and time periods. Ivy sees Cassidy as friendly competition while Cassidy is quite annoyed of her. Ivy doesn’t know why she's so drawn to Cassidy, but that's because Cassidy is actually her grand-niece! (Dubiously canon)
When first meeting Ivy on a ghost-hunting quest, Florence thought of Ivy as strange and intrusive. However, after Ivy taught her the useful method of talking things out, Florence changed her outlook on how she dealt with ghost encounters.
