Sapphire is very childish, but can be serious when needed. She loves talking and making friends, and will try to chat with almost every gem she meets. This sort of thing sometimes gets her into trouble, so she needs Moonstone to keep her in check. She helps Moonstone equally though, as all her talking and friendliness keeps her from totally living in a bubble. Sapphire is naive, curious, and fun-loving.

Her job is to partner with Navy Moonstone at events and tell her where to use her powers. They initially had some trouble getting along due to their different personalities, but they've become good friends over time. (though they still have arguments once in a while)
