History
[fix later] Kynip is a candy monster brought to life from a combination of a spilled potion on a pile of melted candy in the cellar of Mishka's teahouse that had an unusually potent magical aura. Candy monsters forming wasn't unusual due to a combination of the teahouse itself and the current owner's Rather Questionable Ancestors, but Kynip was the first one with a mind which kinda freaked people out a little, BUT he also showed no malevolence so he was not destroyed horribly on the spot, lucky him. Kynip proved to be a quick learner, grew rapidly, and he was also the one who chose his name. Mostly. Technically he wanted to name himself Catnip because it's Good and the word sounds nice but thankfully Misha put a stop to that. Currently, he's working in that teahouse as a cashier (which is a little ehhhhh since he's poisonous but hey, he wears gloves and is Very Careful), and is excited to be learning more about the world.

Trivia
- Kynip is dangerously poisonous, especially his antenna mouths
- His depth perception is exactly what you think it would be with one eye and he runs into things sometimes
- Kynip chose his own name based on sounds he liked. He actually wanted to be named catnip but the witch he's living with (thankfully) didn't allow it :<
- He's a fast learner and normally only needs to be shown things once but his lack of experience in anything makes him extremely gullible
- He used to look more candylike when he first formed as a candy monster but has slowly been becoming more fleshy like he is now, presumably due to the effects of that potion that spilled on him. Also I designed him before I decided his plot
- He never developed a taste for mortals because his first attempt at biting one as a dumb baby monster kitten was actually an extremely old, tough shoe since that was what he could reach and it was disgusting and now he can't stop associating the taste with them even though he knows better now. He's a little dumb
- He cannot tolerate anything spicy, he would technically be considered a super taster
- He can shift back and forth between anthro and quad but sometimes gets distracted midway and the result is. Not Good.
