Kurokami Hakouro's Comments

In the chaos of battle, getting dumped somewhere entirely new out of the Feywilds, and into... well she couldn't rightly tell where she was, only that it was entirely unfamiliar to the knight, was not what she had planned. Illanya had landed with a hefty thud, the armor plating covering her body clattering harshly against each other. Scrambling wildly to her feet, the knight draws her battle axe, looking more than a little frazzled. She'd just been in the middle of a fight, and she wasn't about to be caught off guard.

She hears something behind her, and whirls around swinging her axe with it, right past her blind spot as she turns to check. A shock of red hair and dark clothes that definitely did not look like the stylized, light armor of the quicklings she'd been fighting. A bystander? Someone she didn't know, but someone who obviously hadn't been engaged in combat from the looks of things. In a panic, the paladin yanks her arms back and upwards midswing, a movement not unlike reeling back to cast a fishing line.

The axe slips from gloved hands, and goes tumbling a few feet before lodging itself in the ground behind her. The knight stands frozen in bewilderment and shock, chest still heaving. Slowly, Illanya raises her hands toward Kurokami placatingly, catching her breath.

"I am.... so sorry. I thought you were someone else. I think I am horribly lost." she says slowly, before blinking and shaking her head. "Well, I mean... I must've appeared right in front of you, so obviously not normal. Gods, I'm sorry are you alright." The knight lowers her hands giving Kurokami a once over looking as if she wants to step closer and insure he's okay but clearly refraining from doing so.

At the sight of a raised weapon he readies himself for a fight, only lowering his guard when Illanya lowers her hands. He looked between her and the blade dug into the soft sandy earth, the blueish sparse grass cut down from the swing. "Your weapon needs more care than I do... your body too."

He furrows his brow. Feeling more than a little sympathetic to her bewildered look, he offered to help her return back where she came from. It wasn't a small jump to think that she had come from a planet unfamiliar with the rest of existance, he knew the feeling all too well.  "This is a place for rest. Your fight- can you take pause or are you protecting others?"
