☆ Acoustic Guitar: as a rather famous performer, it makes sense that one of Samuel’s hobbies is playing his guitar. He loves going to random places, like small coffee shops or town squares, and playing for the surrounding people. Seeing them smile at his music makes him happy.

☆ Succulent Gardening: he loves succulents, and currently owns four of them. He plays for them often as well, to help them grow. He got them from Hummingbird, who introduced him to succulent gardening.

ғʀɪᴇɴᴅs:

☆ Eiji; Samuel and Eiji met at one of Samuel’s concerts. Samuel was intrigued by Eiji’s strange magic, and invited him backstage to talk. The two got along extremely well, since they had much in common, and soon became very close.

☆ After their argument in the Open Skies event, Samuel has abandoned Eiji as a friend. He believes Eiji joined Queen Anya solely to get more power, as he couldn’t think of any other reason why his friend would betray his trust. He saw the action as selfish- which is something that hits a nerve for Samuel.

☆ Samuel doesn’t consider anyone else his friend, as people tend to only befriend him for his fame or success. Finding solid friends has been a challenge for him, until Eiji.

“Eye Catching”

☆ Samuel’s magic activates when he sings, and draws the immediate gaze and full attention from anyone who hears it. His voice has a certain lull to it, almost like a siren’s call, that just urges people to turn and stare.

☆ His magic is part of why his music career has been so successful, and Samuel is slightly resentful of his magic because of that. He wanted to get famous for his legitimate skill, not just because he has a magic voice.

☆ Samuel cannot control his magic, and it activates itself once he starts singing. You can tell his magic is activated by the eye on his stomach; it moves and visually latches onto people. When the eye is focused on someone, Samuel’s singing is amplified in their ears and head, drawing the person’s attention and keeping it, urging them to continue listening and staring at him.

☆ Samuel is a very soft soul, who just wants to enjoy life and all its wonders while he still can. He likes to take life at a slow pace, never rushing and taking his time to enjoy the small things.

☆ He never gets angry, but does experience frustration and exasperation; the closest that he has ever felt to anger was when he found out about his magic for the first time. He didn’t realize that people liked his music so much, not because of his skill, but because his magic basically forced them to listen. But, his anger at his magic turned more into guilt and depression, as he only ever wanted to make people happy.

☆ While Samuel is soft, he isn’t nice all the time. He isn’t afraid to stand his ground and tell people off when he’s uncomfortable. He used to be shy about confronting people, but constantly being in the spotlight as a singer gave him enough confidence over time to stand up for himself.

☆ Samuel carries an extreme guilt regarding his cheated success in the music industry; he doesn’t know whether or not someone legitimately likes his music, or if his magic is tricking them into liking it. Because of this, he also has trust issues with those trying to get close to him.

☆ Samuel doesn’t like to talk about his past. In his eyes, the future is the only thing that matters.

☆ Thanks to Samuel’s great success in the music industry, he has amassed quite a bit of money. He was never one to spend a lot on things, as he isn’t very materialistic, so over his years of performing, he has saved his earnings and hid them away. All that money piled up, so now Samuel can say that he and his significant other, if he can find one, will live comfortably once he retires.
