If used to be a helper of Altair, the eccentric sciencey person. He kind of enjoyed being able to help blow things up for basically no reason and do random science things just because Altair had had an idea. It was chaotic, for sure, but actually pretty brilliant, and If loved it. He called themselves the I.F.F. project. It didn't mean anything, of course it didn't, he just randomly made it up - but it gave them the ability to do their very strange experiments without any of the powers that be interfering.

He was caught in the same explosion that gave Altair his strange purple glow, but instead of turning purple or anything, If lost most of his memory and got knocked out. When he woke up, he believed himself to be a scientific experiment of Altair, and hurried to escape, despite his fellow scientist's pleading.

Nowadays he's still certain that he's an escaped experiment on the run, and lives a very exciting and dangerous life that mainly involves stealing stuff. He'd call himself a pirate, but he doesn't really like the word. He's probably more of a bandit kind of guy, as he prefers to do daring heists like raiding marketplaces in broad daylight or ambush someone in the woods and escape by jumping off the nearest waterfall. He's probably one of the most wanted people in Silvarum by now, but he thinks that's pretty exciting.

If often wears a black mask when he's out and about, both to hide a tiny bit of his identity and because it looks really cool. What says 'danger' more than a mask? Nothing, that's what! If is cool, confident, and totally reckless. One day he's going to get himself caught, but for now he's the endlessly risky thief that lives on danger.
