Blood Arts (血術, lit. Blood Art in the Japanese version) is a skill introduced in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It is the personal ability of Ithric Arnim/Cleobulus.

Overview

Already a powerful user of dark magic, Ithric has the added benefit of being an Agarthan, meaning he can utilize blood in his magic arts. His own blood, as the result of being an experiment himself, is highly potent, so if he is heavily damaged in battle, he can use his blood as a last resort to cast higher dark magic. He will also gain a stat advantage in Attack, but his Speed will take a hit due to being bloodied. This isn't too much of a bane however, as the three spells he gains access to are high in Weight, meaning he likely wouldn't be able to double-hit most enemies regardless in this state. 

He has three spells in his repertoire, all three coming from older generation Fire Emblem games. The three chosen are Balberith, Apocalype, and Verrine. 

The effect of Blood Arts only lasts as long as his HP is equal to or lesser than 50%. If he gets healed by an ally or drinks a vulnerary that raises his HP back above the half mark, he will no longer have access to these spells, making his ability quite the gamble. 

It is worth noting that he will have access to these magic attacks regardless of his class, meaning even if he is classed into a physical-attack-only unit with no access to magic (such as Swordmaster or Wyvern Lord), he will still be able to utilize Blood Arts and the spells below.
