Qvist

  • Qvist is a bit unsure and awkward, but nice, outgoing and friendly. She likes talking about herself, but nothing that comes out of her mouth is true, probably.
  • She knows how to start a fire - in theory, at least. She's still learning and doesn't have a teacher or the equipment anymore.

Appearance

  • Qvist is a sharp and slender mutt, with a narrow muzzle and large ears. Her family tree most likely consists of breeds like cirneco dell'etna, pharaoh dog, some type of greyhounds or sighthounds, and definitely at least a little bit of some smaller and hairier breeds.
  • Her golden fur is very short, slightly longer at her chest and at its longest in the tail that curves upwards.
  • Her eyes are so faint green that they're almost colourless in certain light. Her nose and pawpads are greyish pink, as are the insides of her ears - until she blushes and they become very red.

Story

As told by Qvist:

”I was traveling peacefully with my pack, but there was this horrible storm and I got lost! I’m still looking for the others, and they are definitely somewhere near!"

As told by Qvist:

”Well, that’s a funny story! Look... what really happened was, that me and my friends got this idea – I mean they got an idea and I of course just went with them – that we’d steal, I mean borrow our leader’s - I mean he had this necklace that indicates that he’s the leader, because otherwise we’d obviously just forget that - anyway, so that we’d borrow that necklace, just a little bit.

So, of course my friends made me - the quickest and most deft of us - to do all the dirty work aka the actual stealing part, and I did manage do that pretty well, and everything went just as planned. We got the necklace, and no one even knew it had happened!
So, there we were, wondering what to actually do with the necklace, when someone got the bright idea to bury it in an anthill – and so we did. From there, eventually, the leader himself found it and had to dig it up with his own two paws - and you should’ve heard the yelling and the cussing when the ants were crawling all over and stinging him!

But the real fun started when they began to look for the culprit, and lo and behold, suddenly everyone’s paws were pointing at me and only me.

So... they sent me off to find a new replacement piece of jewlery, because those ants had gnawed the old thing so it was all decrepit and useless. So here I am. Looking for... a necklace.”

As told by Qvist:

”You're looking for a plant? What a coincidence, I'm looking for one two! Have you heard of the Moon Herb? Yeah, we had this Expedition, with which we were trying to find it, but... Well. I'm alone now."

As told by Qvist:

”Well, that’s a funny story! Look... what really happened was, that we had this situation that our pack - a pretty normal, not too big group - we lived in this nice valley. Well, the place was so nice that there was this another pack that became interested in also living there. Not that we both wouldn’t have fit there, but the other ones decided that they want the valley all to themselves.

Well, our pack wasn’t too keen on leaving our home, so they - I mean our leaders - decided to negotiate and at first it was going pretty well. But then I happened to whisper something to one of my friends - I don’t even really remember what - but something pretty harmless, if not too polite, about someone from the other pack. Not a big deal, right? but... turned out that wasn’t my friend I was whispering to, but someone from the other pack! And they really didn’t appreciate the comment.
They were so indignant and upset, that they repeated my comment out loud - and I mean loud, so that literally everyone heard it, and that’s where things went from bad to worse, and it was really close that the whole negotiation was done for.

Somehow they managed to calm the situation down and everything turned out pretty well - for everyone else but me. That’s to say, after the meeting, I got a serious talking-to and somehow it escalated into a real dispute and eventually they just told me to leave.
I don’t really believe that they actually meant that I should leave all together, but I was a bit angry, so I left and maybe I went a bit too far, because then I couldn’t find my way back. So that’s how I ended up here and to be honest, this seems like an even better place to live, so I decided to stay here.”
