"Esp's "birth" was more or less a surprise. Satoru and I had assumed it was the cause of a crystal we had recently achieved at the time. I had always found it odd how Esp's pelt looked similar to both Satoru and me. It made me wonder how powerful these crystals really are. I had no plans on being a caretaker let alone a mother. Esp's playfulness was amusing once in a while, but I had to keep focused on the task at hand. I didn't realize how impactful my actions were until we had met again many moons later. I never held anything against him while we fought."

Ex-Mentor •

Father •

"I've only spent some moons with him, but he has somewhat grown onto me. It's interesting to watch him organize hunting parties and to make sure the other cats are safe. Even so, I wish he would stop pestering me about how similar I look to my mother."

Mother •

"I knew little to nothing about her aside from her existence. It was only until I met her after dying where we properly met. I can't help but hold some resentment towards her. What has she been doing all this time? Nevertheless, I still acknowledge her as my mother."

Adoptive Caretaker •

"Crystal was a fine mentor and a wise cat. She had taken care of me since I was a kit and taught me how to fight-- how to survive. There were moments where I'd catch her muttering to herself about how I reminded her of my father. I had wondered what her connection to her was, but eventually it became of no interest to me. Nowadays, I'm unsure where Crystal is."

Half-Sister •

"Smoke was clearly more effected by the situation than I was. I don't know how to feel knowing I have a half-sibling. After all, I was only raised by Crystal for only some time. Smoke is nothing like her and reminds me a bit of someone I took care of in the past. Growing up separate may have it's limitations, but it's calming being able to talk to someone."
