Her family was cursed by a witch many years ago due to one of her female relatives cheating. All females from Flo's father's side was cursed with a hanahaki like disease. Flowers would grow in her body and give her a slow and painful death, she would die when she turns 20. Despite the curse being around for many years they still don't know away to cure it or slow it down. Most of her relatives were male so the curse didn't affect them.

She is in constant pain so she takes a lot of pain killers or stays bedridden. For most of her life she stayed in doors and couldn't go to school or meet new people due to her curse. She is trying hard to fight it and find a cure but so far nothing has worked out.

She meet Asara and Icaru in her backyard. She gave them food and played with them once and ever since then they have visted her and kept her company. She considers them as her friends but doesn't know that they're cursed.
