Yang Dreamspire is a minor dream deity, and the only one other than the time deities who can travel through time - mainly using his powers to warp reality to do the deed. Unlike the latter, however, Yang is a fairly young god, having obtained his ascencion by being handpicked by the previous minor dream deity, who desired to live a mortal life. Lonely and wanting to make some kind of impact on the world, Yang was seen as an ideal choice and given the offer after a trial of his worthiness, which he then accepted. He was born in Aurum, a nature-centric nation, in the fifth era - shortly after their discovery of technologies that made the nation adopt a more modernistic architecture and technology seen in the present, with the two exceptions of incorporating nature into their designs, as well as a lack of travel vehicles as magic is often used instead. Recently, however, a minor time deity's attempt at manipulating the events of the second Era for the worse of Aurum has caught his attention. In an attempt to chase down this lead, he has travelled to the past - to masquerade as a Royal Guard, no less, at the suspicion of one adventurous soul.

Summary
Yang is fairly calm, and prefers to ride the flow, so to speak, though this is often mistaken for laziness. He is thick-skinned, making it fairly hard to irritate him as he will normally shrug it off. When something does penetrate his thick skin, however, he easily becomes cranky and irritable, having a hard time keeping his temper. He's a bit of a stubborn fighter when it comes to disagreements, as well - he doesn't mind appearing rough every once in a while, and can sometimes be too blunt for his own good. Despite this, Yang remains an honest and loyal friend if one earns his trust, and will take the time to phrase his words more gently if he sees his usually brash demeanor may hurt a sensitive ally.

Trivia
• Being both a cat kemonomimi with bat wings is considered a mutation. In the time where Yang comes from, these mutations are fairly common (having increased in frequency with the ages). In the time where Fell comes from - ie the time Yang travels to - these mutations are fairly rare and sometimes looked at with distrust.
• Yang is not spiritual in the slightest and does not believe in the dogma of any of the gods, such as Elliya, Lady of Light, or Verne, Warden of Verdure. Why would you, if you're a godling yourself?
• Yang's design came to me in a dream.

Fell
Getting in the Royal Guard was just a means to ensure mobility for Yang, and he didn't expect to find the true friend Fell ended up being. First amused by his antics, then beginning to trust him, visiting the past became less of a quest to find the minor time deity changing events to shape the future, but more of a new home. The two share many adventures that further their bond of friendship, but Yang isn't exactly sure when to tell him about his real goal - or how.
Fenrir
Yang finds Fenrir rather unsettling, unlike Fell, who jumps to talk to him without fear. Though he'll accept his help, he can't help but wonder if the wol is hiding something from him.
Cecily
One of Yang's friends from his original present, back when he was raised in the orphanage. Cecily is the only person in his present that knows abut his ascension to a godling, and she prevents him from doing 'stupid things' - and won't let him forget it. Yang has given her a special necklace with three charges that will allow her to time travel to whichever period of time she desires should her present start morphing due to whoever is fiddling with time.
